just to be clear, I'm talking about mounting the hdd so that the platters are perpendicular to the ground (usually parallel to the ground)..

I currently have my hard drive suspended in my 5.25" bay by bungee cords (got the vibration silencing idea from SPCR). My hard drive's been getting too hot lately and I feel has been the cause for a bunch of crashes... thinking of moving it back down to the 3.25" bays except mount it sideways...
friend of mine played (music) at a video game tribute show in Toronto ... recording's not very good, it starts off a little rocky, but it gets pretty awesome near the middle ..the theme song to Ken's stage is pretty good imo.

N64 SSB pretty much ruined my Sophomore year in college... I probably logged more hours in that game than the hours I spent in class.

Having recovered from a pretty serious knee injury myself, my suggestion would be not to worry too much about metabolism/burning calories while hurt. Concentrate on getting well first, you will have all the time in the world to get your fitness/metabolism back up.
Also, is Kendo just a ballet with a stick?
