Hi guys I've been out the oc game for a bit and am looking to upgrade my p4 1.8a @ 2.5 to something faster. Looking to upgrade the mobo and ram too. What model processor - intel or amd is the best to go for overclocking ?

What up with these 6800 vanilla 3dmark scores

I think your scores are fine, i got 9424 in 3dmark2003, but that's with overclocking...

GeForce 6800GT with 128M DDR?

It should be slightly faster than a 6800nu, since it has 25mhz more core, but the memory speeds are identical to the nu..

I just got a 6800nu, so far it's been great - quiet, huge copper heatsink front and back and overclocks well 2...

$200 card for DOOM3?

I got my gf 6800 nu for $263 shipped, oc'd it to 385/890 and get 44.6 fps @ 1600x1200 in doom 3, works great!

High Quality at 1600x1200 44.6 fps Didn't test any other mode, since I only like to play @ 1600x1200 ;) System specs below...
