Just did this today. Would not have had a single question raised if I only wanted this hard drive. As it is, I got this plus the RAM, and after a bunch of waiting she applied the same coupon to both the RAM and the Hard drive (she seemed really inexperienced, I wouldn't expect this to work for...
Just came back from BB in Santa Rosa CA.
I grabbed the RAM + the seagate hard drive. I figured, if I could get the RAM free then I wouldn't bother with coming back and would just pay the extra $20 for the hard drive.
After lots of newbie cashiers stressed and fretted over it, my cashier...
I've got the 512 version, and I love it. I wouldn't trade it for any other player on the market, no matter the matter. Has the perfect combination of size/weight, easy access buttons, and features for me. Also the best belt clip around (that comes with the player).
I come upon this thread with a horrible realization.
At least one of my two 160 GB SEAGATE drives is making this same variable pitch wining, that right now is making me want to kill myself.
In the beginning (when I had only 1 drive) I never heard it because everything else was so noisy...
I've got one of these on my 9800 flashed to XT and it works great. I love that there is a high/low switch. On low it is very quiet, and on high I can definatelly feel the hot air being pushed out of the case (still not loud enough to overpower my other fans).
One note, I'm using a MSI K8N...
ditto on 2 months for my last Seagate. My first one took more like 3 or 4 but ended up arriving. Still, I have paid a lot of attention to my status after reading all the negative reports that I have.
This is my first Hot Deal post, so go easy if this is common knowledge or something.
I just finished using my free month of Audible.com premium listener, I just signed up to get the 2 free books and went to cancel online before I get billed.
After telling them I want to cancel, and stating...
This is question that I desperately searched for information on before being my TX, and never really found anything. Hell, I'm still interested.
I mean, I guess the big differences are that the N200 requires a cable but has line-in recording. But anything else? They seem so similar I...
BRAG:
Few months back I recieved a notice of a settlement from a class action lawsuit against Best Buy. This was for current and former employees that worked there during a certain time period, and had to do with a giant list of consisting with Best Buy violating just about every labor law...
I just bought the 512 Version (which is the exact same except for capacity) and here are my thoughts (which answers a lot of your questions so far).
One said FM reception was poor their area of LA. Well I'm in the Bay Area, and reception is great. I don't use FM because I have no need of...
Man, i used to be HARDCORE into clif bars. I would (no joke) eat 2-3 of these every single day, for about a year.
Then I accidenlty ate too many (even more than that) one month, and now I'm a bit tired of them. So I eat Balance bars and Luna bars, whatever is on sale.
You should double-check the compatability list at Zalman's website, but I think I recall that it will not fit your motherboard.
I got the 7000b, since the 7700 doesn't fit my motherboard. It is an extremely tight fit since I forgot to account for my VGA Silencer Rev 3 which actually presses...
I honestly do have to say that the included Lith-Ion battery is one of the biggest draw-backs of the Shuffle for me. Likewise, the AAA battery that the MuVo uses is one of the only reasons I am considering that player instead. Of course I've heard complaints, such as the one above about AAA...
Never before has an OP been this correct about anything.
You will probably never again find this much enjoyment for this little money in your life. Torment is probably the best RPG ever made, and one of the only reasons that it might not be, is because Fallout 2 (never played 1) might just...
I'm beginning... very slowly, to come around to the idea that I might buy one of these.
Stupid birthday has to be in June, and money is tight, so I'll see how good my willpower is. The annoying thing is, I've never had an MP3 player, so I can only conjecture what my playing habits will form...
Recieved a set of Panasonic 5.1 speakers + reciever stereo setup for Christmas, when I went out looking for wall-mounts for the speakers, they were crazy expensive! Doesn't seem like such simple accessories should cost much.
Anyone have any advice?
I just bought this (see above post), so now I am running dual with both the samsung 172N (very similar but older discontinued model) and the 712N (this one). The older model has a slimmer profile and a much nicer base, while the newer model is far brighter and maybe a little more clear and...
Just bought the Samsung 712N 17" LCD from Bestbuy for $179.99 after rebates and open box discount. And dispite being a customer returned (very poorly re-wrapped) open box item, there was not a single dead or stuck pixel!
As if anything could keep thenotebook from fighting. I am convinced that he is a specially designed thread-crapping computer virus sent back from the future to slightly-annoy us.
Sounds great. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to edit this message with my new (second) Samsung LCD. I'm planning on using the vouchers that I *should* be recieving eventually from the California Microsoft settlement (www.microsoftcalsettlement.com/) to help lesson the cost eventually...
Yes and no. Some (few) monitors have good enough built in adapters that VGA presents virtually no difference (sometimes no difference at all). But I think that is generally with 17" LCDs and only a couple different kinds.
I would be wary of using VGA with this 19" without reading reviews...
Seriously, its been years since I gave up the quaint belief that any size hard drive could be enough for me. I remember wondering how I would ever be able to fill my new 4 gig drive. 400 sounds like a good stepping stone for me.
So true. After Black Friday it seems that I have quite a bit of money tied up in rebates (as I'm sure many of us do). Still, this drive is definately on my Christmas list.
Makes me sad. this is how much I paid for my Ennermax 420W Noisetaker (or whatever they call it). Even with all else being equal, this is a slick looking PSU, and I would much prefer this one.
Well, firt you beat the Lord of Terror... which is pretty hard. Then you beat Uber Prinny Baal, which is waaay harder than that. And THEN you might be ready with the equpement from those two fights to beat an Item God II... although watch out, because it is considerably more difficult than any...
So true...
Hell, this will happen even if you get the right rep, but at the wrong time. Or they think your voice is annoying... or...
or who knows, maybe they'll give you free electronics and money.
Awesome price, would snag it if I hadn't already logged 140 hours on my friend's copy. Once I beat the Item God II of some item it just felt like their was no more point to playing.
Still, I wouldn't mind starting it all over again, but if I ever get that kind of free time again I suppose...
Actually, this does look like a pretty hot deal. $150 is a lot to tie up in rebates, and will increase the cost due to extra taxes. Plus, I don't know if I could bring myself to buy such a risky purchase without a service plan, which is like another $80.... actually, maybe for that price I...
There did seem to be many who didn't get into the 3rd season.
But personally I found that after you get past the poor first episode, it was a very strong season that fans should enjoy.
