it can handle 2 fans but you have to leave out 1 yellow wire from one of he fans.

New system instability

i would try one stick of memory at a time and see what happens. just to rule that one out. cause it could have passed the memory test but can still have problems. check model of memory on the net to confirm the memory timing. the temp sounds ok to me

2 things if youre using the promise controller you should put it to work as a ata drive and not raid in the bios. if it is on raid on the bois. then you have to go into the promise sata bios and setup the drive as a single drive (cant remember the exact name offhand) after that you will see...

Asus A8V Deluxe and HyperX 2x512mb PC3200 2-3-2-6

from my experience they dont list performance/overclockable memory, just ordinary. Asus is one mb brand that works with all the brand name memory i know. i have the kevse deluxe with hyperx pc3200 memory in it can go up to 2.5 3,3,7 @ 225max stable and 2,3,3,7 @ 219fsb. never raised the voltage...

it can work in 1 and 2 or 1 and 3. But since its not a dual channel board you can use it in 1 and 2.

the next step it at the same screen 4. type in - ping xxxxxxxxxxxx replace xxxxxxxxx with the name of the winme network name. you should get the same results as above. which would mean that tcpip is working on the winme machine too when u finish this write back with results.

if you want to see if protocol is setup correctly. you can do this on winxp machine. 1. go to Start - Run 2. type in - cmd - hit enter 3. type in - ping localhost in the end you should see bytes sent =4 bytes received =4 loss=0 at this point you know tcpip is working on the xp machine

i always recommend thermaltake like a volcano 12. But that would depend on your motherboard, that is if there is enough space around the cpu to handle a bigger heatsink

just look for a fan with the same specks as above if you want the same performance. my brand is more thermaltake, used pc toys, and other brands too. To me it makes no difference of the brand. You buy a fan according to your needs. either you want a high cfm fan or medium or low. different...

if you cd is not bootable your'e in trouble. Do you have an original copy or a copy of xp? If losing your current installation is the last resort the you have the choice of downloading the bootable disk set for winxp on microsoft website and use that to boot and that will work with your...

Worried about Athlon 64 stock fan

i never used the stock fan and thermal paste, never liked them, but if you are going to use the stock fan i would reccomend buying some artic silver, to be on the safe side.

you can setup the 2 card with no probs. you just have 2 go 2 control panel and choose the default card. if it works correctly with your onboard sound then someting is wrong with the settings you have on the creative sound card. double check to see that all the ea effects are off.
