did you update the bios? i have an antec sonata and its known to run a little hot (in exchange for silence) and i idle at 44c. the newest bios is 1.4 but i still have 1.3 on mine. i just downloaded everest and speedfan and they work fine in reporting temps.
i went to mainboard information under information modules: for usb controllers 1-4 it says usb 1.1 controller and for usb controller 5 it says usb 2.0 controller. maybe sandra isn't reporting the right thing so i'll take your word for it. thanks for all your help.

unaimed, it think it may be a problem with the board because orangat is also having the same problem. i just got this board (version KD) and will be building my system tomorrow. ill let you know whether i have the same problem.
i got the enermax fan for my sonata, but i can't figure out how to install it. the rubber screw things that antec gives doesn't support the fan and if i try to use the screws enermax included, they don't fit through the holes in the case. so how did you guys install it?
Both sides of the case has antec spelled out through a series of tiny holes. I was reading through the forum and saw someone recommended that the holes be covered up (using aluminum foil) and that would result in improved airflow and lower temps. Did anyone try this? Has it lowered temps? Does...
