When XP comes OUT of hibernation, internet doesn't work

start -> run -> ipconfig /renew this does the trick for me at work when my connection poops out after a standby/suspsend/hibernation

the beauty of ing vs a CD is you can take out at any time without any penalties so i wouldn't be comparing the two. idk bout emigrant, but ing is pretty good with the no minimum balance requirement

HELP!!! mobo chipset fan is busted!!

get the passive zalman blue heatsink, thats what i did with my is7 and it has been great since. soooo quiet, no more high pitched whining.

networking xp and 2000

networking xp and 2000

so i have a linksys befrs41 router and i want to setup the 4 computers in my apartment so we can share files. i setup the workgroup to be called "workgroup" and gave the computers names. right now, 3 computers are up, 2 xp and 1 2000. the xp ones work fine with each other but the 2000/xp...
