No, this will not work. You cannot think of it that way at all. The reason is because the probabilities are NOT equal. Please view the chart. If they are not equal then you cannot possibly say that there is a 50/50 chance of winning.

When I tried it this way, I got very low numbers....like 10^-39 order magnitude, which is a very low probability. For some reason, this doesn't seem right to me? Any thoughts from anyone else? Thanks in advance!

Are NFORCE4 SATA ports 1&2 safe for overclocking?

I have been running only slight overclocking, but I have ports 1 & 3 filled up on both of my 2 sets of SATA ports with zero problems. I don't think this board is limited in that way, but I am only doing a small overclock. Even with higher OC's it would only fail Prime95 and not cause any other...

Like I said before... At my processor's defaults, I get 70C!!!! With no OCing and at default voltage!!!! Dude, clawhammers run hot!!!! Nothing more I can do about it except go buy a new processor down the road, which I plan to do anyway:)

Not sure what your problem is, but I can speculate a little... I know that the Nforce 6.66 chipset drivers should only be installed AFTER your bios has been updated... I wonder if that is causing you a problem? Have you checked for spyware and viruses? Have you been able to isntall other apps?

First, case max is not the temp of the CPU it is the maximum allowed "ambient" temperature of the case for the CPU to function. 2nd, I don't know who's lieing and who isn't but the more data I gather, the better for me:) I'll just throw out the "fliers" LOL:)
