    well, even more sporadic thought, the front porch setting just seems to shift things down the screen...not sure how that would affect gradient banding

    looking at it again, powerstrip does make a slight difference, but the banding isn't gone, it seems to just osrt of be masked. If you look straight on to the lcd it looks sort of gone, but once you look from the side you can see it.

    well, I thought I had no banding, but it turns out I have it. I just downloaded powerstrip to give it a shot, it doesn't go away with that. On the flip, it seems like powerstrip could be a pretty nice little program. I wouldn't be surprised if this is self advertising

    I woul dassumet that sli or one on each would be fine. SLI shouldn't screw it up, but you may get better performance in this situation putting one on each card. But I am not sure you can span the desktop with tath setup.

    I am using the display over DVI. To calibrate, I first used Hex2bit's calibration wizard, but then I just used the nvidia calibration guide. I found better results using the 2007 ICC profile than the default one.

    It looks pretty good. The only thing I would change is make your descriptions shorter and more concise. Like in the first one, no one cares for what faculty it was. A little more white space i those areas would look good.

    Phisrow, Thanks for the comments. DRM isn't such a huge issue at this point. The major thing that we want is to provide the readers with as professional an appearance as possible. A pdf, in my opinion, does not give the reader adequate navigation options. I would like to see more animation...
