Dirt bikes are very fun. Expensive upfront, but once you have all the gear & bike its not too bad. Only thing is you need other people to go trail riding with and it can be hard to find riding buddies and coordinate trips. Check out http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/
The silverado/sierra would be my full size truck choice. Don't know about promos but seems like they should be offering some good incentives the way truck sales have been. The new ford raptor has caught my attention recently but its pricey. If you don't need to haul/tow much then you might...
Yeah its graphic. I guess I should say NSFW since theres a part in there at about 26 sec where a guy falls on his nuts and decides to show the camera...
Only the weak "safe and sane" ones are legal here for 1 day of the year. The cops used to be pretty lax when it came to the illegal stuff that shoots into the air. Then a couple years ago some idiot had a ton of the illegal fireworks stored in his house and there was an accident where the house...
I grew up skating in the 90's and by far the one video I still remember is Welcome to Hell from Toy Machine. It had the craziest bail scenes that put some real fear into me. Ouch NSFW
It also had my favorite ending/credits set to Santana's Samba Pa Ti song. 50-50
Just get the stuff called "sun cure". Its super easy and under $10. Some of the ding repair kits require mixing and using fiberglass cloth, but sun cure is way simpler and works very well. You just sand the damaged area, then apply the goop in the shade, then tape a little piece of plastic...
Check the EGR valve. I had an 89 s10 with the 4.3 that used to do the same thing. I took off the EGR and it had black crap in it. I removed it, cleaned it up, put it back on and after that it stopped stalling at idle.

Pot IS the same. Its not like someone takes one toke and is instantly high. The effects depend on the amount consumed, the strength (like % alcohol), and the persons tolerance.
People use pot in the same ways people use alcohol. Some use it very moderately, some use it until they are fully intoxicated, while others just plain abuse it. Unfortunately the fact that pot is illegal skews the usage more towards always getting intoxicated just as alcohol prohibition resulted...
Your idea of a typical drug user is off. You might be able to get a better understanding of the drug business if you think of its legal counterpart: alcohol. Really there is not so much difference between illegal drugs and alcohol other than the law. Alcohol is addicting, but not every one who...
Many states force you to join a party to participate in the primaries. Otherwise you're forced to sit back and let someone else choose the candidates that you will eventually vote for in the election.
It sucks because more and more people are choosing to be independent, yet we are still stuck...
Nice. Were there any other bikes you were debating getting? I'm having a hard time choosing what to get, there are so many nice bikes and options! I like your ex8, but I also like the spec. pitch, and so many of the 'boutique' brands like turner and intense.
Are you in socal?
I think Paul should have been included. However, complaining to the government about Fox with the intention of the government somehow punishing fox just seems wrong and completely against the principles Paul embraces. If you don't like it then don't watch Fox anymore and let them know. Let...
I like the new EX8! Been looking at them, what color did you get? pics?. I agree with the TV and keeping in shape thing. But I don't think the cost difference compared to motocross bikes can be explained through component cost and R&D. Think about a motocross bike, they probably have more money...
Yeah, it just seems that the type of people that buy such items are similar. I'm just surprised moto's don't sell for more when people are willing to shell out thousands for a mtn bike.
I've been researching new full suspension mountain bikes as well as new 250cc offroad motorcycles.
I can buy a new honda crf250r motorcycle for around $6000.
Mean while a top of the line specialized enduro sl mountain bike somehow costs over $7000!
Something doesn't seem right here...
Your point is that the described 2 hypotheses are both disprovable and equivalent. So where does that leave us? How do we choose the "best" hypothesis? I think Occam's razor is very useful in such an example.
I feared I would feel that way before I watched the video, but I actually think he answered the question honestly and have lost no respect for him even though I disagree with what he said. I also remember he did not raise his hand in the first debate to indicate that he did not believe in...

His congressional office RETURNS money to the government every year! He does NOT participate in the congressional pension program and he has NEVER voted to increase his congressional salary.
I don't know, it sure as hell shouldn't but I don't know about these stupid campaign finance laws. This is all very new to me and I'm just unsure since my employer is a big federal government contractor.
I was all ready to donate until I got to the eligibility step. I've never made a political contribution before and am unsure if my employment for a defense contractor makes me ineligible.
If someone knows where to find more info on this I would really appreciate a link.
I'm going to donate a few bucks but I don't understand the eligibility disclaimer that says you can not be a federal government contractor. Would that apply to someone who works for a defense/aerospace company whose primary customer is the federal government?
How old are you and these people? I would be very skeptical of someone claiming to smoke a 1/4 ounce per day. I would be ten times more skeptical if its a teenager. Younger people tend to exaggerate how much weed they smoke in a pathetic attempt to look cool, similar to the way some people try...
