Pretty solid unit actually. Ive been using the 4 drive version for a few years, rock solid. I actually just purchased this unit yesterday from Amazon at $149, which will get returned as this is $30 cheaper, building another for my Dad.

Should I upgrade to a DOCSIS3 cable modem?

I actually just did this myself. On comcast though. One thing to keep in mind is the WAN throughput of your router, my good old wrt54g wont even come close to keeping up.

I did end up getting 2 during the BF deal. They come with a 1000 page black cartridge and 700 page color cartridges. Ive only gotten about half way through the black and im at 600 pages, even with the cost of replacements this is a great printer. I would buy another one if there was any need!

Agreed, Buy 2 or 3. The toner included with the purchase (black) yields 1000 pages, a new toner (50) cover 1500 pages. I can only imagine what quantity the color cartridges cover. Aside from that, if you dont print often, no worries about the cartridges drying out! This is a deal!
