XFX is offering a fan speed adjustment device? They didn't tell me when I called to complain about the noise from this card. I'm using the S2 (<$20 shipped) w/low speed fan and am happy. XFX doesn't void your warranty for installing an aftermarket cooler, confirmed in my conversation with...
Thanks (I was editing my post when you provided this info). I'll take a look at the forum (?) to see if there's a revision on the horizon. In any event, I'm not finding many problems with whatever maps are on the unit, even in a city with constant major construction.
I'm not talking about the CD - it hasn't been out of the box. But the info on the device may be the software revision date instead of the map revision date.
Here's an alternative for $106 shipped from Newegg with a Biostar NF61S board (GeForce 6100 graphics onboard + PCIe slot) and a mobile 3200+ - in case you wanted this type of system but are disappointed by oos on this thread's deal. Of course all of these seem priced perilously close to some of...
I'm seeing $10-$15 selling prices on eBay. But why worry - the combo costs less than the CPU alone purchased elsewhere, so you're still ahead if you throw the board away.
OP's statement "profit calculations do not take in account the likelihood of moving balance from a card to a bank account" is the part I don't understand. Terms and conditions I reviewed for cards on the top of the list appear to require a significant charge for cash advances - usually 3% - and...
I would guess that it would be faster in applications that utilize multiple cores, somewhat slower in those which don't as the 3200 has a higher clock speed.
Eliot wrote The Waste Land. According to the introduction, Michael Scott is reading it in this audiobook and I don't detect a British accent, pseudo or otherwise. But all that aside, why threadcrap? Wouldn't you be happier searching for a thread where you could find an audio edition of...
I'm also using a couple of these and am very satisfied. Good build quality, designed to mount a quiet 120mm rear fan. I think that it's short for an ATX case and fairly narrow, but as Tomer said it's quite deep.
I don't think that the Crown amps I've used are unusually loud for pro sound gear (comparing to say QSC and Crest), but they're probably noisier than you would want in most home listening environments.
Nice deal, thanks OP. I've used Crown power amps for years and they've given good performance and reliability. (Never had to use that 3 yr. warranty.)
I wouldn't use it in most home systems though - most decent home audio gear will provide better sound and the forced-air cooling on this amp...
The CSR may have said that, but prepaid plan details on T-Mobile's website are just as Gilby stated above. Could the offers be different in different areas? Or maybe she was offering a bonus as an inducement to buy a card?
From the TMTG FAQ - "If you applied a $100 refill to your account or have already reached Gold Reward status, all unused minutes won't expire for one year from the date you last applied airtime to your account."
Nice deal, thanks OP. I'm not an overclocker but don't mind the OEM - in 20+ years I've only had one processor (out of probably more than a hundred) fail, and it was after the retail warranty expired. Besides, while I would pay a few dollars more for retail, I would never pay an extra $60 (38%).
If you like this rifle, you could get a scope/mount for it. Otherwise, Beeman and RWS (Diana) rifles are usually good, though they can be expensive depending on grade. There are lower priced Crosman and Benjamin Sheridan models which should be ok. I have a Benjamin that's over 40 yrs. old and...
Special? As German target air rifles go, not really, but it's a decent deal. But your comparison with a "<$30" item suggests that you know little about this type of product. This air rifle isn't the best, but it's not in the same category as a "crappy" department store air rifle. There are...
Yes, but you will still come out ahead unless you're in the 100% tax bracket. :) Thanks OP, and hats off to Greg04 for striking it rich on this hot deal.
I'm using WME9 to convert DivX files to WMV for use on a Pocket PC device. On my A64 3700+ machine, everything works fine - 100% CPU usage and a quick encode. But on my A64 X2 3800+ machine (which I thought would be even faster thanks to multi threading), CPU stays at or below 20% and encode...
