Need a cpu recomendation

I guess the question is, is he making money at what he does, if not forget the upgrade..if he is making a living at it...hell yes, a duel system is made for that situation, heavy duty computing....so if making money go as far as he can afford...if not....why bother if he is getting by..?? I...

what we have here is a simple equation....and that is FSB x multiplier = mzh.........now if you took a simple algrebra course you know the mzh devided by fsb = multiplier or mzh devided by multiplier = fsb. so this tells you that there is more than one way to skin this cat....you dont have to...

DDR-400 cant run at rated speed

yuppers..that is a 400mzh mem....and you aint hitting it.....up the cpu to a 400FSB or drop to pc2700 at a 333mzh.....and forget the 1:1 I could be wrong, and proably am, but I dont have to pay for you F_ups

Overclocking and RAM

well it seems your mind set is wrong...there is want and there is what is....as for the 1:1 ratio I would concider the mem should automaticly adjust to the FSB as far as ratio.... when all is stable...and I mean test it all for 24hrs, would I concider adjusting the timing of your mem., but..but...

Confused about temp readings between my Bios an Asus probe

WOW what an article..and eye opener...think I will make me a probed HSF also, consider I OC all the time. That article realy opened my eyes and truely sparked my interest and modding side. Damn I am realy dumbfounded now if my temps are correct...this is a must read fer all OCers.

Confused about temp readings between my Bios an Asus probe

ya man 72C is realy getting up there, I am running a XP3200@2400mzh and have never gotten hotter than 52C when playing games...and right now is at 48C (118F) surfin.....so yes I think you may have a problem that realy needs to be looked at.........

Power supply is not enough?

ya know 400w is 400w, and with what he is running should be fine....now I know this girl who has had nothing but bad luck with the power in her house, spikes and lows doing the same thing to her systems, so maybe just maybe check out the power to that room, it could be like her and had the...

Purported XP3200 boots as 2500

Ya know you can have the exact same box and config as the next guy and there is a good possibility that the OCin levels will be totaly different....way to many factors to consider, just the way the world turns and the luck of the draw.
