The 2000 most common would be a great set to get, since you can read basic texts with about that many. Where did you see that on the site?
I bought a Canon S400 from them at a great price and received it two days after ordering. All parts were there, including warranty card. I also called them before purchasing to ask a question and found them to be friendly and knowledgeable. I would buy from them again.
I just wanted to add that I had a minor problem with my Case-Mod order (got 12 of the Panaflos and some other stuff, but it was shipped to the wrong address, had to be returned to sender and sent again) and their customer service was fast and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this company to the...
A little info to add to the pile: Before signing up, I contacted ThrillHost with a question and got a very quick reply. Then I signed up for the RS-1 (cheapest :) ) deal this evening and my account was active in <2 hours. So far everything looks and works great.
Update: I ordered an S400 from them and received it two days later, no problems at all. However, price is now up to $420 (shipping included). It might be good as a second choice if 6ave is out of stock.
Two things to add to this thread:
1) I got this chip from Monarch a few days ago, it arrived well-packed and quickly. I installed it with a Silent Boost. Unfortunately, my Chaintech 7NJS doesn't seem to let me take the multiplier above 12.5, and my PCI devices were unhappy about the FSB being...
Harmony Computers is carrying the Canon Powershot S400 for $409. Base shipping is $9, but they have free shipping to some states if you call in your order (can't seem to get the free shipping on the website). They're based in NY, so there's sales tax for NYers. Harmony's six-month rating on...

I got four refurb DWL-520+ ($24.50) and one refurb DWL-650+ ($24.50) from here. Order arrived in two days. I tested all the cards and they all worked. Only complaint was that the packaging left a little to be desired.
$24.50 x 5 + $6 shipping = ~$129...
I have one (bought March 03) and the buzzing annoys me so much that I don't turn it down below 9V or so. I saw the buzzing mentioned in a few reviews but didn't think it would be a big deal... but listen, folks: If you are the type who considers noise level important to very important, you will...
Not only is the SLK-800A $25, you can add a Panaflo 80mm H1A for $4.50. $30 for that HSF combo is definitely a hot deal if you're not set on having the latest & greatest.
This is also the same place that is offering the Panaflo 80mm L1As for $3.75. Another pretty hot deal I found (for people...
I got my roll of teflon tape from CS Hyde yesterday. The material itself seems to be exactly the same as MouseSkatez. One minor complaint is that the adhesive is not very strong, so you have to really rub it down with something flat (side of a pen, flat plane of fingernail, whatever) to get it...
I was going to get the 1910 until I did a little reading. The 1945 has more ROM (32 vs 16), BlueTooth, Win2003 Pro (instead of 2002), SDIO support, twice the battery life, and a faster processor -- quite a bit more stuff -- but all in that same tiny and beautiful form factor. Looks/size may not...
I have the Intellimouse Explorer and just got the MX700 today. Installation went off without a hitch, mouse works great. The scroll wheel is loose, but not as loose as the Intellimouse Explorer (at least the v2.0 I have), but I much prefer a loose wheel, so I think they're both great.
I've had...
I just placed an order for the 1/2" tape... didn't do it the first time because I didn't want to bother with calling, but the woman who took my order was very friendly and competent. Shipped it USPS for $2, just like 0roo0roo got. Great deal!
The Optio S is at around $360 on Pricewatch, and the Maxtor Drive is the one everyone's been grabbing for $50, so this is really only a hot deal if you want both. Yup, this is yet another OfficeDepot deal.
Go to www.OfficeDepot.com, add item #678133 (Maxtor 80GB Ultra ATA/133 Internal Hard...
Hey everyone -- I'd like to set up a site of my own, but I don't really understand the steps I need to go through (domain registration, DNS hosting, etc.) Can somebody post or email me a quick list of steps, or point me to a web page or book that explains all this? I just don't know where to...
