    Right now the MSI K8N Neo2 platinum is probably the best MOBO out for socket 939. That may change in a month or two with the release of nforce4 and the DFI board. Keep in mind though taht not all those chips will reach those speeds. If you get a good chip, it should be achievable though.

    Prescott has never been as fast as amd 939. Hell, Prescott has had trouble against northwood (untill doom3 came along). It doesen't matter what anyone else thinks though. You've got a processor that can handle everythign you want to do with it, and it isn't "bad" by any means.
