Is Cleartype available for Windows 2000?

You can try this: Windows XP Theme 2.0 I am not sure if Cleartype is included, but the icons and some other visual enhancements are. Hope this helps somewhat.

not sure what cpu, but make sure you've downloaded the latest sb live drivers. I remember an issue 2 years ago around this time that coppermine CPU's and SB cards didn't get along. If you've got a P3 coppermine, the latest SB drivers might fix it. Have you also tried to reinstall your OS...

Are there any existing motherboards that will run with a single stick of RDRAM? I got a single stick by mistake for someone, and to save face I'll take it from him if I can get myself a board that will take it without added expense. Any help you guys could provide would be great. Happy Holidays!

Amazon misprice - DeNiro 5 DVD Box Set $10.85 shipped

ordered- but they suck on pre-orders like this b/c they'll send you an email saying this is the real price when they are ready to ship. They did that with Hannibal and Crouching Tiger too I think. Worth a shot though, could probably complain to customer service that this happens too frequently...

Does DELL offer any price protection???

definitely refuse it; your card will get credited for the full amount (since you never rec'd product), and then either re-order, or buy something from another vendor so you don't risk dealing with Dell again. (use the 20% off coupon found on tech*bargains or the like to save more!):D

optiplex gxa - max processor?

Thanks - I knew that; I meant what luck have people had installing a faster <unsupported> CPU such as a Celeron 766mhz. I know the slotket can adjust the voltage as needed, I just wasn't sure it would be worth buying the CPU if it didn't work. Anyone try this?

two things: I don't have the usb hub, and that just sucks. I've got bnc connectors and a damn serial port, but no hub. The second things re: max refresh rate, I thought too high was also not good? they say 72 is minimum, but higher than 100 is not good.... did I miss some technical detail...
