I got EasyTune4 off my Gigabyte CD. After installing it downloaded a newer version of Easytune4 in the background via FTP. it works. @orionbg: Did you get the newest nForce driver updates from nVidia? On another note: the Torture test failed for me in 8 hours this time with my voltage...

Best motherboards on the Market

The Gigabyte K8NSNXP-939 is a nice board and single channel DDR RAM works perfectly. But if you want to try Dual Channel, you're up for a lot of configuration modifying in the BIOS. It can work, but you'll be relaxing your RAM timings. I am sure there is more BIOS updates around the corner...

Yeah, the ForceWare Network Access Manager. I don't like this software. It sucks. I prefer the windows firewall over it! Even my router's firewall is better than this. I uninstalled it a few hours after it was installed with the updated nForce drivers from nVidia. ----------...

It can also be your RAM. What kind of errors? Try running memtest86.

Torture test fails at 14 hour mark this time. :( I'm stumped... This is using DIMMS 1 & 2. I'm going to try DIMM 3&4. Edit: BFO4, to flash main BIOS to bakcup BIOS and vice versa go into BIOS and then hit F8. Hit enter to enter DUAL BIOS utility. Go to Q Flash (on the bottom)...

I avoid using a floppy disk whenever possible. Old technology... time to move onto new technology! Running Prime95 Torture test with same settings, only difference this time it's F4 BIOS. Let's see how well she operates! By the way I'm almost out of floppy disks. :thumbsup:

Installed F4 BIOS. Accessed BIOS, went to Advanced Chipset Features. I check the RAM clock, it's at 100MHz, should be 200... so hmm. I go to modify it, and when I do, the BIOS freezes (there is no option listed.) I have to ctrl-alt-del out, and I tried several more times. Finally I gave up...

DAMN! I decided to run torture test once again while I was at work. I return home to an error message :( "Torture test ran 8 hours, 37 minutes - 1 errors, 0 warnings" :( :( Going to install F4 BIOS in a few minutes. Going to copy Main BIOS to Backup BIOS in case I don't like F4...

This is my first 'problem' with Gigabyte but after adjusting voltage and timings it works perfectly. I have other motherboards from Gigabyte and they work like a charm. MSI likes to die on me often :disgust: But good luck on your MSI :) Sorry you couldn't get your RAM working... mine...

24 Hours of Prime95 torture test passed successfully with my memory (Corsair XMS TwinX 2GB DDR400 PC3200.) The only thing I did this time was leave Voltage at +0.2 and made no other changes. Edit: This is also in Dual channel mode. Maybe the FX 53 processor works fine with the Corsair...

Well, what can I say. I set the memory to +0.2V and enabled 2T in the BIOS and ran Prime95 again. Right now it is at the 3rd hour into Prime95 and no error have been found. I will let it run longer. This is in dual-channel mode too. Previously it would only run at an average of 54...

I have this board too. Bios version F3. Other stuff include AMD Athlon 64 FX 53 processor, Corsair XMS 2048 TwinX DDR400 in dual channel mode. Installation of OS went fine. When running Memtest86 there are no errors. However when using Prime95 torture test it works for about 1-2 hours...
