if you suspect the power supply, I would you can either swap the PSU or use a multimeter. Can you verify that the board is getting power? You will need a fan since your video card does not have one. Do not plug in the other drives until you get this resolve.

D80! that's what I shoot. I would suggest you go and operate the cameras and see what feels comfortable in your hands. I like Nikon but Canon has more lense choices.

I don't have that board so I can't say for sure, but I would check the bios to see if it has to be turned on. Maybe someone here withthat board can help. Lucky it was just a power connection.

could be a bad install and it could be a good install but there may be bad sectors on the disc. Check the disk like suggested above to confirm a healthy disc before reinstallation.

you can't use the same drive to boot to a new and different hardware setup. Part of what gets loaded durring bootup is the chipset drivers, video and other onboard devices. It is possible that the wrong driver(s) were being loaded and the conflict caused the BSOD and reboot. Sometimes not...

Oddest problem I've encountered in nearly 2 decades of computing.
