It certainly is hot for people that want their games handled and updated via Steam, plus with this game squad play is very important so finding 3 friends to chip in is pretty essential. For $33 apiece it's definitely a good deal.
Everywhere I read about the best 2TB consumer drives, these seem to come out on top. They're the only consumer grade 2TB drives that run reliably in RAID. I'm considering jumping on 8 of these in the near future for a RAID6.
According to the ATI CrossFire FAQ, you can run multiple monitors when not in CrossFire mode. Does anyone know if enabling/disabling this mode requires a reboot? I had to ditch my 9800GX2 because if its lack of support for multi monitors with SLI enabled.
Got mine today with 2 day shipping after ordering Friday and a call having to confirm a phone number. Painless process, fast ordering, good experience. Just installed Win7 on a pair of them in raid 0 and it's flying.
EDIT: Oh and I didn't get any adapters so mine are currently flopping around...
Jumped on 2 of these, finally a non gouged price from a good retailer. Thanks OP!
After placing my order it still says 20 in stock with their "real time checker." Hope these were actually in stock.
I have this kit. After breaking the RB1 drums and then pretty much destroying the RB2 ones after about a week, I figured it would be a worthy purchase. I've had them for about a month now and they really are fun to play. The pedal is a little crappy because it's loud but I usually play with my...
This is not an aluminum case. The only aluminum in it is in the front door. The entire case is cold rolled steel and weighs about 33 lbs.
I'm not bashing it by any means; I own a P-180 and I love it. Just be aware that it's pretty heavy and solid.
I bit. I am getting pretty sick of the scroll wheel issues on my G5. Plus, I got the $10 for GCO so $70.99 shipped. Expensive for a mouse but a good deal for something this new.
By your "credit card", do you mean your Canadian credit card? NCIX does not take US credit cards, only PayPal. That's the only thing killing this deal for me.
I'm really tempted to get the Tuniq and a lapping kit over my current Big Typhoon, but I just doubt I'll see a worthwhile improvement. I'm currently running my 6600 @ 3.51ghz 1.475v and I bet if I got the Tuniq and a kit I could probably get it up to 3.65ghz at most with like 1.55v. Just doesn't...
I think the reason that the 2707 might be so expensive is that it touts a 92% color gamut:
This will also be available in the upcoming 3007WFP-HC, which has a review here: http://www.hothardware.com/viewarticle.aspx?articleid=915&cid=2
Ugh, I got a 7200.10 SATA drive that reports 5 year warranty from the box serial but OEM from the drive serial. Normally I wouldn't be worried but I threw away the box earlier today before learning about the mismatch. I think I'm screwed.
Got on this one just in time.. Ordered one at about 3am last night. The shipping was not free but I called up today and had it removed with no problem. I don't think I've ever gotten a hard drive deal for $.25/gb without a rebate. Thanks OP!
