Was thinking of upgrading just the card when the new Nvidia cards come out, but I don't really need it as I have a 1080 and I'm only playing at 1920x1080. I should wait a while longer and do a full system upgrade when DDR5 comes out. Currently on a 6700K. The game is just very poorly...
Do any of the games use Unreal engine 4 on the bench tests? I pretty much only play PUBG which is build on Unreal engine 4 and would like to see comparisons.
I've checked with the wickipedia and none of the games listed use it...
Please can someone recommend some good CCTV software to use for IP Cameras? I'm using a windows 10 home PC, a gigabit POE switch, Cat 6 cables. Probably going to use 8 to 10 cameras.
Hi guys,
I'm thinking of building my own CCTV at work to use around 8 to 12 cameras 1080p. Does anyone have some experience with this that could give me some tips? My main questions are
Should I be using 1000mb network cat6e?
Can you recommend a good PoE 16 port 1000mb switch?
What sort of...
Is there a piece of software that will send the same email for me Monday to Thursday and a slightly different one every Friday? I have to send an email everyday to have a pick up done by a delivery company. This has been going on for over a year and they will not accept it as a standard job...
Hi,
I play videos from my PC upstairs to my TV downstairs using a chromecast. Is there a device that will do this, but wired instead of wireless? I already have an ethernet cable ready.
Thanks
Steve
Watched Gone Girl for the second time 8/10. The film is great and would of been a 10/10 but the ending is just not thought out well enough. There are just too many big holes in the story at the end. It could of been an all time classic.
I've got to a point where I don't read reviews or watch trailers (if I can help it). I find it's better to watch a movie knowing as little about it as possible. It's hard to avoid all the adverts, but it's doable.
£440 delivered in the UK for the twin frozer ... it's a bit pricey at the moment IMHO. I hope it drops to below £400 in a few months time. Then I might pull the trigger.
Don't really fancy doing a custom loop. I would only buy one that is already done. Think I'll just stick with an open cooler then. Thanks for the info.
The Revenant 6/10 - Too long and too slow. They could of knocked about an hour of the movie off. Still worth watching. How they made the bear scene seem so realistic is amazing.
12 years a slave 9/10 - Very good film, great acting and a great story. Hard to watch at points because humans...
Can some kind soul break this down for a mere mortal? As far as I can tell there is no news about GTX 1080 and it's still a guessing game as to when it will be released into the wild?
If I was you I would cancel or return that order. Even if they only give you store credit, so you can get a 1070 or sell your current 970 and stretch to a 1080.
It's a double whammy. It's like buying an 6700k over a 6600k. The 6700k is better, but it's only better in certain situations. Also for the extra amount of money you are not getting that much extra performance. Keeping that in mind, I still bought the 6700k, because it's worth it to me. On...
Seriously? You don't think Pulp Fiction was his master piece? I think you need to watch both films again. I like both, but Pulp Fiction was an amazing film.
Legend: 8/10. Most people have heard the story of the Kray twins, but this focuses on the differences between the twins more than anything and it's a good watch.
Mine is due in July and I'm rocking a gtx770 at the moment. All I play is CS GO and rocket league, so it's fine for now, but it isn't going to cut it come July. I feel it's pointless buying a 980ti now, so I'm just going to have to wait it out.
I know it didn't and it's beside the point I'm making. I think people are expecting too much from Pascal and there is no way in hell that Nvidia are going to give you 980 performance from the 1060 part. Them days are gone.
Sorry about the wrong comparison my bad. Here is the correct one gtx780 vs a gtx960 http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1596?vs=1493
I would be extremely surprised if you get gtx 980 performance in a gtx1060 (or what ever the name will be) card.
Is there some way to put a reminder on...
