Strage voltage readings with speedfan

Thanks for the link. I ran both hwinfo64 and hwmonitor. Both are close to what I get in bios. With the +12v, +5v, and +3.3v all within acceptable ranges. hwinfo64 does show two readings for the +3.3v however? And neither have all of the readings shown in speedfan however. Maybe they don't...

Yeah. The numbers on the far right are the ones I'm seeing in bios. Not sure why the other ones are so out of whack, As for the -128C. I had done a google search and apparently there's a bug with speedfan that tries to read a sensor that doesn't exist, and gives a false high or low reading on...

DDR2 system. What should the FSB bus speed be?

gtx 950 still worth it for an old system?

Ok, appreciate the advice all. I went ahead and ordered 4 more gigs of ram. Found some for $20 bucks off ebay. I'll hold off on the 950 and will keep a look out for the 1050 or 1050 ti. Thanks again.

Can't install windows 10 - Is going back to windows 7 still an option?

it's an older nforce chipset, 980a sli. I have tried the latest drivers I could find for win7, 8, 8.1, that were available, unfortunately none of them allowed windows to detect the drive in raid mode. Tried the windows 7 cd and it showed right up. Guess I'll try going back to windows 7 for now...

Thanks. I will be playing at 1920x1080. I updated my first post with this info also. As for games, nothing too recent right now. I still play civ5, and would probably go back and play gtaIV, Fallout 3, L4D2, etc. But would also be looking at some newer games eventually.

BSOD with new Vertex 3?

Drive has firmware 2.15. Never had an issue with the laptop prior (year +) until the HDD suddenly crashed and started dying. This was a clean install with the windows Disc.

6950, gtx560 ti and civ 5

High memory usage in windows 7 (64-bit)?
