Costco or Sam's

From my experience, Sam's has a wider selection of things, whereas Costco has less selection but cheaper prices. For example, Sam's might carry the Swiffer Wipes Refill for 12.99 a set and Costco would sell basically the same thing branded under Kirkland Signature, and sell it for 10.99...

Building a task specific new computer for a friend

I hate 4:30am fire alarms

we had fire drills in my HS boarding school in boston . . . 5:00AM fire drills in the freezing cold of New England's winter weather. some poor kid happened to be in the shower and ran out soaking wet, barefoot and in only a towel . .. Hilarious . . .

Damn, $44 to fill the tank today -- what's the most it has cost you these days?

My 84 Mercedes Turbo diesel cost about $55 to refill here in Los Angeles, Diesel is about $3.10 a gallon. Just got a prius, $25 a tank at about $2.60 a gallon. and goes 500 miles. :)

I know for a fact that in southern cali, they leave this form on your door knob with a fedex location and hours. you can sign the form and leave it or your doorknob and the next day, they'll take the form and drop off ur package or you can just take the form with you to the fedex location on...

I received a nomination to become a member of NSCS on the basis of my GPA. It has 75$ lifetime membership and says it has a whole network of helpful connections after college. Grad school app, job placement etc. Anyone here a member or know if it is as good as advertised?
