his feedback, while a little hairy, seems not bad after you reed the negatives. he drop ships so if they get caught up he gets crud. I think I would consider buying from this dude.

Is Hitachi Hard Disk Good?

20 pin atx removal possible without the tool?

I'm sleeving my psu, and the kit I bought didn't come with a atx pin removal tool. I think someone mentioned there was a way to do it without a tool but I forgot. Are there other ways?

Hey I just got a new psu and I'm gonna sleeve it. Obviously, I'm ignorant when it comes to sizing for the stuff i want to sleeve. svc.com has a good selection and prices on uv sleeving, but what sizes do I get for my 4 pin molex, atx, and 3pin wires. Do I need like 1/2" for the atx? I'm confused...

are swiftech or maze4 tec coolers able fit on cards in sli?

Just wondering if there's enough clearance for either the swiftech mcw50-t or dd maze4-1 to fit on cards in sli. They both take up 1 or 2 pci slots from agp card. Has anyone tried this out, or know if it works?

If you want to skimp a bit on memory getting some valueram wouldn't be bad. Corsair and Kingston you can get good deals on 512X2 mb. I bought 1gb of kingston value stuff and its pretty good. I have it at 3-3-3-8, not the best, but I have heard the corsair tolerates cas 2.5 and stuff at stock...

A few weeks ago I was playing Far Cry hardcore for hours on end and I kept on smelling a subtle burning plastic odor. Soon after or around then I got a new a7n8x-e deluxe just for fun, but now Far Cry, or any graphics intensive game, they'll just crash to the desktop, freeze and do vpu recover...

Dumb Memory question

reducing multiplier and increasing fsb is made easier with ram that can take higher frequencies. pc3500,3700 and so on can take higher freqs. pc higher-than-3200 will allow you to raise your fsb and make overall system performance faster.

HA! ribbon13 I wa just gonna recommend that. Mr. Controversial, if you are going to consider slipstreaming your drivers, go to pcstats.com for a pretty good tutorial that addresses slipstreaming sp2 and drivers. Good luck!

have you read up on sata2/sas? if you're willing to wait , a pair of 80gb 8mb cache 7200 rpm sata's should be fairly fast until it comes. hot deals section shows some 200+ gb sata's for like $70. if cost is not an issue go for the 74gb raptors. apparently, they're slightly faster than 36's...

dfi vs asus

you'll get the best info from the reviews anandtech has done. dfi ultra-d performs as well as sli-dr, but without full sli. I've heard there's a mod for sli on that board. oc features are beautiful for dfi of course! as far as I've read, the a8n-sli is pretty good. definitely read the review...
