SBC Yahoo DSL connection problem

I tried all the spyware programs mentioned above, but the connection still cant access AIM/Mirc/Games. I have no idea what's wrong! I can't even update my spyware... it says connection is not found even though I can access the site with Internet Explorer. TIA!

But I can use Mirc and Internet explorer. Is it a connection problem? I can download off of IE as well. I just can't connect to AIM or Firefox. Please help!

SBC DSL activation

Anyone ever try this? I'm at school right now and I'm still comtemplating. I don't know whether the charge will be high or not... also I'm apprehensive because some people on FW said that the SBC tech told them "DO NOT USE THE CONNECTION BEFORE THE DATE" Caps intimidate me! :confused:

My system is pretty crappy. I bought my case for about 20 bucks on some site. I basically want a system that would be very silent so it won't bother me when I leave it on overnight. I'll spend about 100 bucks... I hope that's enough. And, is a Dell CPU a good investment? Are their systems loud...

Thanks a lot for the input. I d/led Zone Alarm and my download speed was back to normal! I discovered that in about a 10 minute time span, there were close to 250 Intrusions! How can I get rid of this? Or do I need ZoneAlarm on everytime I log on? Also, I'll try getting SP2 get Fry's. Where...
