Running LCD's outside of native resolution and aspect ratio

Cooling question about the Sunbeam TRIO

NTFS vs Fat32

What SHOULD a 6800 GT get in 3DMark05

I get about 5200 with my system and card overclocked. Specs are in my signature. That's with the 66.81 drivers.

It doesn't really sound like a virus to me if your not getting a video signal, unless it has infected your bios, which isn't too likely. You might try unpluging all of the drive cords from the motherboard and try to start the system to see if it is drive related. It sounds like a hardware...

Disabling sound?

I think you can just go in the case and unplug the speaker from the motherboard. That should theoretically keep it from working.

xbox vs PC

Lol depends on how you look at it. My graphics card alone is more powerful than an entire x-box (costs about twice as much too), but an x-box doesn't have the stability/compatibility issues that something as complex as a PC does.

Whats this - Bus master PCI IDE Driver

If all your drives are being recognized, I don't really see why you would need to install an IDE driver. IDE drivers would handle the interface for hard drives and cd/dvd drives in case you don't know. And I would only install the USB drivers if windows doesn't recognize the USB ports...

Problem getting p4p800 to recognize the primary IDE channel

How does mixing RAM with different timings work exactly?

I'm not sure exactly what motherboard it is. The memory is the corsair xms series (ddr-400), and I think it's 2-3-2-6 timings.

Anyone have or know where I can get the BFG 6800 OC BIOS...?

I hope you didn't try and flash it to a gt or ultra bios. I've read that once you enable the non-functional extra 4 pipes you can't just reflash the bios to go back.

Problems Installing new video card..help!

Try reinstalling your old card and flashing your bios to the latest revision. Several motherboard manufacturers have new bios revisions that include updates for the 6800 line of graphics cards.

I did the a plus a few months ago and it works well for getting you an interim job until you can get a higher level of education/certification. So it works as a good intermediate step. And the exam is two parts: hardware and software.
