freeware image slicer?

hey all, I don't need anything fancy, just something that can load an image, then slice it up into rectangles, similar to how freehand or fireworks does it but free. any suggestions are appreciated!

Why can't my psu handle this?

never mind, it turns out in the end that the problem was that I am an idiot. the clicking was from the failed IDE drive, but man it sounded like it was coming from the psu. i put in another drive and i'm now good to go. now if I only knew what to do with that failed drive :( but also :)

well what i am looking for is something that runs on my own machine that will periodically connect to an ftp and download files that are different/updated since the last check. does such software exist?

multicam edititing in adobe premiere pro

actually i figured it out. it's the audio that's rendering not the video. I killed the audio track an imported a separate audio track that syncs to all the videos... and it works great!! so thanks -SelArom

i tried messing with an eggdrop but I just couldn't figure it out. I'm spoiled by the windows days and forgot how to use command line interfaces :P i was hoping for something like dreambot that runs over mirc that I can tick off a trivia button or something but that doesn't seem to be likely...
