marathon, For the purposes of the mod I took what's indicated in the retail box as my default voltage. I believe I read somewhere in the same article that that is what you take as your default voltage. I know CPUZ may report something different.

Yes the pins are in the right spot. The picture of the actual mod confirms this. I recommend doing the 1.4v mod since the mobo is different and may already run stably with the slight voltage increase. With an Abit IP35 for example, the E2200 should overclock at stock vcore quite easily...

Mobo for C2D w/8800GT SLI ?

The TP3 powered my old mobo just fine. I learned later that the IP35 Pro is a little finicky when it comes to PSUs (see comments in the IP35 Pro review here). So the TP3 is happily powering up the old box.

Mobo for C2D w/8800GT SLI ?

Not sure if the same problem exists with the IP35 but the Antec TP3 PSU does not work with the IP35 Pro. Wouldn't boot. Switched to a Corsair PSU and everything was fine.

You don't need to slipstream the JMicron drivers to be able to install XP. The 6 black SATA ports up front are all delivered by the ICH9R. The JMicron JMB363 chip supports the two eSATA ports at the back as well as the PATA port.

I'm not holding my breath. They could have easily replied to me saying they are working on a new BIOS to fix the problem. Instead they advised me to keep all settings at default and essentially live with an underclocked Q6600. I did not buy a quad-core only to have it run at lower than rated...
