based on comments from here and sd everything is being delivered by the best-of-their-class USPS. i'm curious if anyone in ny has or hasn't gotten it yet, and what deadlines people had (from the delivery email) for those who have and haven't gotten it.
there are some posts on the sd thread that indicate vista has just Today started to arrive. no details though, other than that it is two discs with two keys. (like before)
unfortunately my business' usps is usually a day late on their mail (gets picked up just before delivery) and i haven't...
thanks OP and moshquerade - i'm in for one. can't decide if i want to give it to the new wife or my mom though. i think my mom might be more offended by the synthetic part, but who can predict women?
I tried several times in both FF and IE7 with hotmail but no go. Finally tried a different address in IE7 and then it worked... maybe addresses used in FF are being blacklisted?
I'm looking to setup a copy operation via scheduled tasks in a way that can be monitored remotely for success/failure. if there is a way to make a log file in a shared folder that would work or if there is another way please let me know. Thanks
edit: finally gave up and using 3rd party...
i haven't used it in a very long time, but i remember GB-PVR being pretty functional on minimal hardware. (I ran it decently on a celeron 333MHz)
i don't know how it performs on older equipment, but GameEx is an emulator 10ft interface which also plays videos and music. but it is also nag-ware.
Thank you for the reply Tiamat- I'm hoping to get something similar to a XBOX360 or PS2 noise level. (i think my current AOpen EZ18 is about that)
The unique placement of the 3.5 drives in this case could be a noise offender so I think that's what I'm most worried about. I currently have a...
I'm considering this case for my living room HTPC. Currently I have an Antec EZ18 and love it to death except I need to upgrade and need more expansion.
Mostly I'm concerned with how loud it will be. Please share any experiences- thanks
edit: changed subject Silent to Quiet
it seems like the subscriptions are better for those who have a lot of time to play mmorpgs. if there was a usage-billed mmorpg it would be better for casual gamers and those with limited play time. but it / they would still have to compete with regular rpgs on consoles and pcs, some of which...

has anyone seen any reviews for Connect3D sd cards? newegg doesn't seem to carry their sd cards and amazon has no reviews other than one person who had it 'not recognized'.
i would like to connect a vpn-incapable device (an Ethernet printer) through a vpn connection. I have tried researching sharing a vpn connection through a PC but was not able to come up with any information other than Windows' ICS does not support IPSEC. (the protocol our vpn uses) I tried...

isn't that a compelling enough reason to buy cheap? insurance will con you either way, the less it's worth the less you get ripped off in compensation (and usually monthly payments for insurance too)
maybe it took longer for me because they were getting hammered more at the time. or maybe it was my bank's fault. or something.
still not cancelled yet...
edit: i would guess that they would be getting more hammered at 8 than they would be at 6 tho...
i got the first email at 9:07 EST (the time given in the email for the order is 6:06:17) the time i posted for the charge was what they sent me in the second email, which is newegg's local time (CA?) so the charge went thru ~25 minutes after the order
seems to be fluctuating between "in stock" and "out of stock"...odd...
and btw the shipping is ~$5
edit: my order made it to step 3- maybe it will go thru?

some known bootleg information:

according to the graphic given it would appear to be ok, but may be misrepresented. there is no region information and no claim to authenticity.
