Oddly enough, I've never had a problem with eCost. I've ordered from them 5-6 times. My roommate had a horrible experience with them. But, I've also had absolutely horrible experiences with the beloved ZipZoomFly and will never order from them again, go figure.

these nigerian scams are old news, they've been around for years and years and years. i'm sure they have taken a lot of idiots money. a 2 second google search will bring up 100s of sites exposing the scam.

I agree with Meritt. Paypal has tried to convince people that they are a bank when in fact they are absolutely not a bank. I would never hold money in my paypal account.

Is it just me or do you have to be a total sucker to buy the X (windowed) version. I wonder if Western Digital has really sold any significant number of these. When I first read about it I couldn't believe the price difference. $10 I could see but $60+ is just ridiculous.

I have owned the Samsung 243t, 2 Dell 2005 FPW, and now use 2 Dell 2405 FPWs. I have never experienced any sort of input lag.
Floor models might not be the best testbed to condemn a whole race of monitors.
yeah, I usually have many more than 2 windows open, that's what I was referring to. It would be great to ahve a little button next to the max button that did this (max left/max right). Tile really only works when you have a couple open.

To the contrary I have had a very easy time getting Dell to replace my LCDs for any imperfection at all. Just blame it on backlight and a new one will be on the way including an airbill for return shipping :). It just takes a while on the phone with New DELLi.
I'm using a NEC ND-3500A. It's a great drive. I've never had a problem with it, it's very quiet, and with a firmware update it reliably burns Ritek G04's at 12X. Very very nice drive especially for the price.
