Question 2019 Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop - better than 2018?

Would depend on if the game is cpu dependent. I don’t think in a laptop the difference between the ti and the non ti would be monumental.

What were the early users here like?

this was a gun customized by bob munden for fast draw competition. the trigger pull is a little under 1.5 lbs, and its reinforced to handle fanning, the hammer is made for fanning and fast draw. its a dream to shoot. very smooth and light action, and very quick. with wax, and with cowboy action...

Question Intel 660P worth the upgrade?

That’s the one. They also make an older “professional” that uses the e8 I believe, which is a x2 drive, and not worth it in comparison. Hardforum had a long thread about the drive with a lot of benchmarks posted. It was about the deal in the first place when they had it at 124.

Yeah sorry, phison. At least it didn’t correct toprison. They are nvme x4, and they are awesome. I put two in my laptop, and absolutely love them. I was going to get the 660, but decided the extra 10 bucks each would be worth it. I get 3200-3400MB/sec read times off them. I’ll post the numbers...

If you have a micro center near you, the price on the inland premium 1tb with the poison e12 is still under 120. It’s a fast drive.

Done with DSLR. Sold 5d mk2....

i've enjoyed using the 5n. i use older glass with it and have found a great amount of balance, control and quality out of a smaller size camera. i haven't run into jpeg processing issues.

Anyone here heat with a pellet stove?

we use a wood burning stove as our only heat source. no ac either, just windows. but at 9350ft, it's not like it gets hot, but it sure does get cold.

NEX-5N vs APS-C DSLR

I love my nex5n. i still have my nex5 and it was a nice improvement. I shoot mostly with old minolta glass, and am very happy. the best thing is being able to carry it all day and not even think about it. the 5n is one of the best featured cameras at it's price point.

Help me find a good pro/prosumer camcorder

i'm still not a big fan of small size sensor 3ccd in a consumer camera. 1080 60p is neat if you plan on doing slow motion and converting it to 30p. otherwise, since most tv's will convert it to 30p, you don't gain a noticeable difference. i don't know if blu ray specs have been changed to...

Sager..worlds best NB?

sounds better giving the credit to the sales and branding then talking about clevo and the manufacturing. i enjoyed my clevo (not sager branded i7 975ee laptop. stupid fast. stupid battery time.) it's not the hardware that makes sager, because many companies use the exact same hardware.

Storing raw AVCHD files (.mts) onto an external drive

Bought Vehicle! UPDATE

the 4cyl gets horrible gas mileage (the 4.0l i6 gets better), lacks in the performance arena and well most likely leave a bad taste in your mouth. i would keep looking unless you really had to have that jeep. why would you regret not getting a wrangler, it's not like they are great cars.
