computer reset problem

Sorry your right it is Micro-ATX, typo my bad, and 6.5"x6.5" is larger then a typical PSU (typical being 140(L)*150(W)*85(H) mm) I'm looking for the micro-ATX which i can just put my old 2.6GHz proc and pc 2700 ram into

Hey thanks for the suggestion. It turns out my mobo is junk, and this caused the problems to be evident elsewhere. The Videocard is fine. YAY! stupid mobo and it's stupid farm realistate hobbie

Core Temperatures

OK here's the good word from the program designed to monitor my MOBO, My MOBO if A-OK. Was using speed fan to look at my voltages and it was saying my 3.3 was 1.45 thus i was worried. I DL'ed Epox's USDM and it says my Vagp is 1.45 V, and my 3.3 is 3.35 V, My MOBO is ok my PSU is scrap...

Came up with a second question and I'll just tack it on here instead of a new thread Question: If i had a bad power supply could it in turn damage other components? I know my PSU is bad, the caps have leaked (brown goo on several and one with a .5" yellowish hat) but now i'm getting minor...

hey all, Question: Whats a typical core temperature for a AMD XP 2600? My computer seems to operate at a fairly stable core temp of 54 deg Celcius this seems fairly high to me. I'm trying to figure out of my cooling system on my chip is working Thanks for your input Dann-o

PSU problem i think

ok i put an old GF2 in and things didn't really change... the only significant change is that +12 drops to 12.2 V. Something seems wrong i just don't have a clue. Appreciate any suggestions on work to do to diagnose this problem. Thanks all Dann-o

PSU problem i think

Ok put in an old PSU from my server 300W but on bare bones should be ok get the following: Vcore =1.66V, +3.3 = 1.49V, +5 = 4.76V +12 = 12.46V, -12 = 1.79, -5 = 0.18 , 5VSB = 5.4V, and Vbat = 3.12 V. hmmm, I'm gonna try switching out my Graphics card an seeing if that solves a few problems or not.

I installed Speedfan, at a suggestion from a roomate, It's reading my -5 and -12 volt rails as -5 .18 and my -12 at 1.79 that seems bad to me

going from IDE to SATA RAID

if they're WD HDD's i think that Lifeguard can do it for you. I could be wrong but i thought that it had a simple ghost program built in. you might check that out. Other then that i think i would have to revert to DOS and find my old DOS book it's been that ong since i ghosted a drive

I'm checking this from work and not at my computer to check out LSASS but i'll assume for the sake of argument that it is the culprit. I am running Norton Corporate 8 antivirus and do no have the windows firewall enabled. Had the problme of constant read/write with the fire wall on and off...
