my cpu temp is not extraordinarily high, it is 52º when gaming. PSU is a 450 watt L&C, VERY cheap, could this be causing my troubles ya think? if so, maybe that is why my graphics card didnt work, because it requires additional power, i got it sitting in the box next to me, i will test...

Computer woes: Long mobo beep

does it make the beep when you plug the cpu fan controller into the mobo? i will bet that it is going to beep because it thinks that your fan is not working, and screaming at you to fix it to prevent cpu damage.

MzA, the mobo comes with a utilities CD that has a program called EasyTune on it. you can use this to get your memory up to 200 mhz, but you can easily make your system unstable if you mess around with the wrong things.

i was able to get my ram to 200mhz by putting the latency settings in 2.5-3-3-6. however when i was in windows it seemed a bit unstable. what should my voltages be for that setting? here is a screen shot of the error i get whenever i try to open a big program when my ram is running at 200...
