It looks like all the good AR prices for the IP35-e and IP35 are gone

Just as a followup, I got my Neo2-FR and it's great. OC'd my Q6600 to 3.0 without increasing the voltage. Completely stable so far.

I bought the MSI last week. Got it yesterday. Plugged it in and it worked. Haven't OC'd yet.

AMD stock ultra low level

What's gonna be "THE" $200-$250 card for 1Q 2008?

I don't think the 9800GT is going to come out 1st Q. From what I've read, NVidia will only be releasing a high end 9xxx video card (read:>$400) for Feb timeframe, and the mid-range cards won't be till June. So I think THE card to have in Q1 of 08 will still be the 8800GT.

I keep reading that this item is discontinued, but all I see is that it's OOS. Why would ABIT discontinue a board that's selling so well? From a business standpoint, that doesn't make any sense.

Used old CPU - do they just go drop dead one day, or do they deteriorate and get slower and slower?

My CPUs have always just gone poof. Usually either in a puff of smoke, or I'll turn them off and they never work again. That said, most CPUs I've used have gone obsolete and been decommisioned before they ever had a chance to die of natural causes.

Best and quietest psu over 600watts?

From what I've been reading, the Corsair 620hx has a good combination of quality, quietness, and modular-ness. I haven't actually used one, but I've been considering very similar requirements and so the focus of my research has been in looking towards these qualities.

I have heard in the past that people have gotten Saitek to send them new keycaps to replace ones that wore out. That said, I have not heard of the G15 having any keycap wearing out problems. If longevity is of importance, the G15 might suit your needs better. Incidentally, the lighting on...

480W PSU good enough for 8800gt?

How accurate is that eXtreme power watt measurer? I ran a hypothetical system with an o/c'd Q6600 (to 3ghz) and a Geforce 8600GT (proxy for 8800GT since it wasn't on the list), plus a couple fans and a soundblaster, and it told me 602W. That seemed quite a bit higher than I'd expect.

That is actually a common fallacy. The $150 is already a sunk cost, and therefore is irrelevant to any future decisions made. ;) To the OP: Your card is fine. Don't sweat it.
