Laptop to be used for AutoCAD

hi guys! i'm looking for a laptop, purpose is for running autoCAD... i only have about $700 headroom, so i probably end up getting a refurb... what would be the best laptop for me? any suggestions/opinions will be appreciated... thanks!

Limited or no connectivity

what if I was able to connect before and just recently I'm not able to (limited or no connectivity)........ didn't change any WEP key, didn't change any config............ then why the hell I get this freakin' message! :(

i'm using zalman 7000b cu led with 3 80mm case fans (1 side intake and 2 back exhaust)... i live in a tropical country though... but anyway, i lowered my OC to 240 HTT and stock voltages, my temps now are significantly lower than running @ 250 HTT...

aquamark3 error

any idea about this guys? the application will run but at the near end it can't give the summary scores and it prompts this error message... http://img493.imageshack.us/my.php?image=aquamark3error3qk.jpg] system runs everything on stock (yet) including memory timings (auto)...

PQI to Geil

i currently have 2x512 PQI's (ordinary, not the turbo ones)... im eyeing on a Geil value series dual channel kit (2x512), the ones with ram heatspreaders... is it gonna be worth it? are they any significant difference in terms of performance and headroom?

yup, agree on this... but if there will be a lot of budget still, then i guess it's he's call... :) ei mixman, can i just have the x700 because i could make more use of it and swap with my 9550XT?? :D but it has to be an agp though... :D

Mobo Or Mouse?

:confused: i have a minor random problem with my system, sometimes the mouse won't work (it's just freezing) and i have to restart again to have it working...sometimes i restart twice coz it still doesnt work at first restart... could it be my mobo or my mouse? mobo: asus p4p800-e deluxe...

Need a New Heatsink/Fan to OC Intel 3.4C

just also had a 7000b-cu led on my 2.4 prescott @ stock speed............... yet... :) plan to oc it around 3ghz that's why i chose these zalmans... it really did lower my temps from 48c idle to 42c idle... i've heard it's going to go even lower when AS5 has already settled thru...

taisol?? no no, the small fan under its fins is loud and its anoying me... imagine running @ 4600rpm, men it's even louder than the intel stock... :D but anyways, i returned it to the store and got myself a 7000B-Cu LED instead... though it cost me a little bit more but i'm happy with it...

will a zalman 7000 cuLED have no trouble with an asusp4p800-e deluxe? i mean, this thing is heavy... and will this really lower my temps significantly? please help, i want a good return of investment here.... :)

i've got my self a TaiSol heat pipe solution for P4 socket 478. I tried it because it looks kind of OK and as per review here (below), it seems like a performer. Taisol Heat Pipe review??? however, i was very disappointed with the results. the temp readings are almost not even lower than...

ggeeeee thanks for this post, now i have an idea... i just got an ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe for 3 days now (very cheap - 5mos. old 2nd hand with complete stuff of the box still)... so far i'm doing fine, setup was pretty straight but except for the on-board audio, though haven't really tweaked it out...

this is an old rig just bought it second hand and it's quite cheap... :) just trying to squeeze out more juices say around 3Ghz perhaps... not a hardcore OC'er though... ;)
