I paid a little more because of the CA tax.
Many believe these are the same as the Sennheiser CX 300 Headphones.
Rather they are the same or...
hmm... dedicated sound card. i already went over his $600 budget by more than $200.
He wants his system to be cheap, quiet and able to play game LOL The reasons I picked the M2N-E were good price (under $100) and the passive cooling heat pipe.
no time to read thru all the pages. i got this boad to build a system for a friend. it's my fault that i didnt do enought research... should have gone on here to check before i ordered. i bought it based on the newegg review :o
but my question... since there wont be any OCs, is this board...
i have the enhace and love it, but i still voted for the corair because of the hot deal and free shipping. if there's no hot deal, it'd be a tougher call. i'd say go with the enhance to save money. however, definitely the corair if you have a window case or into cable management stuff.
1) plugging the front audio connector is straight forward.. just plug it in. i dont think there's a case speaker connector... there's no case speaker for p180 i believe.
2) use two of the bay mounting rails for your dvd drive. use screws to mount the two rails on the drive one on each side...
how come price of the x-fi cards drop so fast? are there new sound cards coming from creative?
i'm really considering upgrading my platinum to the elite version, but i just don't want to get it right before a x2-fi or something comes out.
edit: posting at work, so i'm a little slow and...
great deal indeed. it's pretty quiet, but it's LOUD on the initial spin, espacially when you turn on your computer after you left a dvd/cd in the drive.
i've been gaming with cordless since mx700, now using a g7. i don't think i would go back. but i can understand why pro/hardcore FPS gamers need cord. changing batteries in the heat of things is pretty stressful :P
thanks rickn! okay, one more question, should i consider the 7950gt 512mb then since i have a dell 24" lcd?
thanks again.
edit: sorry guys, it's a little off the topic :)
i paid $140 for mine few months ago :(
