Anyone have an XFX 6800GT with zero problems?

I bought a XFX 6800GT and it worked fine, althought it had memory clocked at 900MHz. I had fun with customer support, they were going around with wacky "possible solutions". Got sick of it, ask the store for a RMA. Got a new one week later. It was perfect, clocked at 350/1000. I checked with...

www.genitechcomputers.com (Yes, it's a canadian store) you can get one between 540-560$ CAD, depending on the brand and game included. I've search a lot and they mostly have the lowest prices. They also have a very good customer service.

Thanks, I wanted to know if someone had checked the chips. But don't get too excited, the thing is that even if it's the right memory, it doesn't mean it has passed all the tests at 1000MHz, so maybe that's why they downclocked it to 900MHz, to be sure you don't get any strange behavior of the...

Funny you mentioned that, because since I knew it mostly could handle the 1000MHz, I extracted my BIOS, modded it with OmniExtremeEdit from 900 to 1000MHz and run the computer with that. But, when I tried the "detect best overclocking speed" in coolbits, the program just went dead. I'm clearly...

I got my card on october 7th and it was bundled with Doom 3. And it has one of the lastest BIOS, and the warranty sticker on the box is 09/04, so It was hot off the press! 700$ CDN?, where did you buy it in Canada, ifesfor? In my case, I got it from Genitech computers.

By the way, anyone has ever removed the heat sinks of 900MHz XFX 6800GT? We could know for sure what type of memory they put on it. I don't want to do that yet myself, in case I'm able to get some exchange for it ;).

I get the same reading for memory speed from Coolbits, Rivatuner and 3DMarks05. Yesterday I upgraded my drivers to 6.6.8.1 but didn't try again to "overclock" it to 1000MHz. I just tried it this morning and it works, I even got to 1.10GHz. But what it's bugging me is that when testing the memory...
