Question about FSAA on my Geforce DDR.

FSAA is too much of a drain of framerate. I find that it's much nicer to just play at a higher resolution, and get more fps. The only way i'd suggest FSAA in OpenGL, is if you set the quality to the minimum-medium, and run at around 640x480-800x600. It really depends on how powerfull your system...

Where is the best place to buy a P3 800mhz?

Get a PIII 650E with cBO stepping, and pair it with an alpha cooler, and you should be able to get around 950MHz. They can be purchased from www.pcnut.com. Get one, I just did, ;-).

How many FPS is enough (for now)? v-sync? sync?

Do Socket-370 heatsinks work/attach on the Socket-A (Duron)?

It's not the best option, because it's not specific for the Socket-A chips. It will most likely not cool it nearly as much as it should, and you have to be extremely careful putting it on, because with heatsinks that don't fit properly, they can scratch the top of the chip, and it will be ruined.

Abit KT7 or Asus A7V

The ASUS will most likely be more stable and reliable, and since you will not be overclocking much, it's a good choice. The ABIT will have the onboard multiplier DIP Switches, and will be nice for hardcore overclockers.

Yes, there is the K7V with audio, and the K7V without audio. If you were to choose one, the smart desicion would be to get the K7V without audio, and put in a non-integrated sound card, for 2 reasons: 1) Because the sound quality is terrible. 2) Because using integrated sound uses up computer...

Mode 3 floppy vs. standard floppy drive?

Mode 3 is 1.2MB in Japan, and you really don't need to worry about what they are...just stick with a standard 1.44MB floppy and you'll be fine. ;-)

950mhz Athlon <---Overclockable??

A 950MHz Athlon will not go very far at all, I wouldn't think even close to 1050MHz, probably barely 1GHz. The reason is because the faster Athlons with higher multipliers can barely go any higher, and a lot of the time are at their limit to begin with. If you want around 950MHz or so, an 850MHz...

Where is the "A" prompt???? T-bird ,Asus K7V

I cant get 4x AGP on my Asus P3v4x and 3D prophet II 64mb any ideas?

Uninstall the AGP driver, and install the latest GART Driver, and the settings will be default. AGP 4x isn't worth the struggle to get working now, unless it can be done with no problems easily.

Winamp question

Just completely uninstall winamp...and delete all the files associated with it. Then get winamp 2.64 from winamp.com, and install that. The settings should all be default. If not and no luck, download MusicMatch Jukebox 5 from musicmatch.com. It is a very nice mp3 player/ripper/burner. Good luck.

Which RAM are you using successfully with the ASUS K7V mobo?

I'm using 256MB of pc133 Infineon RAM from memman.com. It was highly recommended many places...including on Anandtech.
