Im planning on buying the XP-90, but I was wondering what fan to pair with it. I dont want the tornado, because my house is dead silent, and my Lan center owner said 50db was a bit too loud for 1 pc. My sig should contain rig information, so thats what ive got to work with. Plus, i need 4 new...

do you have a fan blowing on the main duct, like to the right of the ram. and did you turn your fan on ur cpu backwards?

Ducting, halloween mod, and stock HSF question

Hey all, I was wondering if any of you could link me to an article on how to make ducts in my computer. Also, any pictures of halloween mods to spark my creative juices would be greatly appreciated. AND! can i mount a new fan on the stock HSF that came with my 3500+. Thanks guys/girls.

i am just wondering since im idling stock settings @ 43c if i should just wait for a new HSF, or do you guys think my mb is reading the heat wrong. Thanks for the tip though, ill be sure to try it

arctic cooling nv5

Ive got one of those on my eVGA 6800 GT and you can go past ultra speeds providing you have some arctic silver 5, and some patience. I recommend it, but if you went with the GT because of 1 slot its totally defeating the purpose. Its 30 or so bucks that saves you ~150 bucks in the long run...

Adding more ram

Would adding another gig of ram really increase performance enough to render the extra cash worth it? Im using the full gig I currently have on doom 3, and it totally takes it away. Ive got Corsair XMS 3200 with a 64 3500+, and a 6800Ultra. Thanks.

yes, i knew it was reading it wrong, and now the AGP ratio is locked with the new bios, but other than that, any tips on how to tweak it more?
