Replaced CPU, now computer won't boot up

did you connect the fan's power connection to the motherboard?, if so, then you have to verfiy that your connect the cpu properly in its socket, which is something you better hope you did right the first time, because if not, then you'll have another problem on your hands tonight.

Video Card broke, got fixed, but won't work in MY comp.

Come on, does anybody have any remote ideas on this? I'm talking about things other than simply if certain parts are connected. Has anybody ever traced a problem like this back to the motherboard, the mobo's BIOS, anything like that sort?

Yes, other video cards do work in my computer. Unfortunately, I need my internet more than playing video games right now. So, as luck would have it, I have my fast PC running off the crappiest video card I could find. Its a slide show whenever I view the forums. Extremely irritating...

I hope this is a little out of the ordinary compared to the "My Windows is not starting" threads. But this is the gist of it. Nice new, GeForce 6800LE, don't ask me why but I had it on a panel on the floor, bro came by and it got casually kicked across a hardwood floor and hit a wall...

Just to update from my little snag earlier the other day about flashing the BIOS and then not being able to overclock. It had something to do with my mobo drivers being updated, I built my rig completely new from the ground up with this video card in mind. You're now looking at the proud...

Cannot overclock in the slightest bit. Nor can it auto-detect overclock, it just stays there at 350/1100 at a comfy 55C

I couldn't do this up unti now even though I've had my 6800LE since October. But I've used THUGS newest LE to GT 1.4V BIOS from 11/29/04 and I flashed it sucessfully, removed than reinstalled 66.93 drivers (then I did 66.91 drivers) then rebuilt Rivatuner database and it obviously reads...

How big a power supply can be fitted into a Lian-Li V1000?

I had my eye on purchasing the Lian-Li V1000B (Black) enclosure but naturally I'd expect a couple of awkward design problems relating to my motherboard and power supply. I wanna have a new rig thats very capable of overclocking my new Athlon64 3000+ 90nm and my new eVGA 6800 LE. So I need this...

Eh what the hell...UPDATED WITH CARD IN COMPUTER

Question on having to hacksaw the two-slot plate in order to install an Artic NV5 Silencer. Is it possible to remove the plate from the board? I see one screw underneath the board at the corner, but the only other "screws" are the fasteners that are to the left and right of both DVI ports...

Say Cannabis, were you able to remove the metal plate that you hacksawed? I see one screw on the bottom that connects in directly on the board and the only other screws I can see are whats used to screw your monitor connection into the DVI connectors, the 4 holes on both sides of the DVI...
