Doesn't sound off the wall to me as that was one of the first things I did...and have repeated it several times since then.

Network Doesn't Connect on Startup

Thanks for the quick reply. This is the only wired computer on the network, but the wireless ones connect fine. And I've already tried setting the computer to a static IP...no dice. Honestly, I'm worried it's a hardware problem on my mobo at this point...but it just seems like such an odd way...

Found this thread and wanted to add a question to it.... All of my computers, switches, and WHS support jumbo packets...but I also have a 360, PS3, and Slingbox HD that I stream data to from my PC. Will enabling jumbo packets on that PC corrupt streaming of data to these devices? And will...

Wow...I really like what I've found to read on these switches :) I just ordered one from Amazon with overnight shipping...but I'm thinking about replacing my other two switches (DLink and Trendnet) with two of these... Anyone else have experience with Procurve switches or something...

Thanks for all the replies and input. To address a couple things... 1. You're right, I don't need a gigabit router if I'm using a gigabit switch at the hub...however, I am plugging 2 devices directly into the router, which then goes to 2 different gigabit switches that each have their own...

So If Memtest86 Fails... ?

I had WoW crash on my last night with my new 4 sticks (like it was doing ALL the time before with the bad stick)...but only once compared to multiple times. Yet memtest ran all night without error. Again, how long does this need to run before I can say it's okay? Thanks for the northbridge...

Exactly. I had only a small OC to begin with when I was having problems. I went back and manually set every timing and voltage at the recommended rated settings...and still failed. :( RMA'd one stick today, but decided to take advantage of some sweet deals anyways and bought 4gb of OCZ...

So If Memtest86 Fails... ?

It was just 1 Error after about 6 hours of testing 4Gb. I doubt it's the vdimm since I'm running at manually set stock settings. I'm wondering if it's the mobo though...I've heard of similar things with my evga 680i sli T1 (aka: POS) before.

Best Way to Backup my RAID 0?

iTunes Problem that WON'T GO AWAY!

It's never been checked. Amazing...Vista's been installed since November of 2006 and the ONLY program I've had trouble with is iTunes. Everything else has been flawless (well except for some nvidia driver growing pains at the very beginning)

Searched for that and couldn't find it. :( Going to select only the songs and move them to a different directory on the same drive, then delete the original folder, then recreate My Music and copy the songs back....I'll let you know. Thanks.

iTunes Problem that WON'T GO AWAY!

Thought about it...problem is that it's a 500 Gb hard drive that's almost full of photos, music, and videos and I don't have anything to back it up to. :( I've kinda ruled out Vista as the culprit in my mind because iTunes is the ONLY program with this problem--WMP11 and Winamp see everything...

3. Did some reading and downloaded HostsXpert. Restored my Hosts file to its original form. Problem fixed :) Thanks alot for the help. :) I'm curious though, there's an option for making the Hosts file read-only. Good idea/bad idea?
