are you using 2 drives in raid? If not then you do not have to do the f6 install thing. If you are using 2 drives try the promise raid connecters. They might come up as something other the drive C: but It doesn't matter XP will install on any partition you tell it to. Also are you using the 6...
Dude use the promise controller for raid. I'm asumming your using sata drives. Believe me I have to raptors in raid zero I tried both promise is better. So save your time and go with the pormise
I have 3000 on this board runs with no probs. Are you running memory in dual channel mode? If so what kind of memory is it. I think you should try to see if disableingsome of your powersaving options helps out also don't run any screensavers

You need to turn it on by default it is off. To trun it on you must go into the bios, I can't remeber exactly where it is off the top of my head. Also the header on the motherboard has jumpers make sure they are corect
