considering games are getting more complex and more complex games means more powerfull video card and more powerfull video cards means more money pouring into research and development means more expensive to build a graphics card means more expensive MSRP.

well i just started a new job where i will be making around 900 a week (old job was around 160 a week) so more than likely i will be picking one up shortly along with a athlon 64 x2 4400+. will more than likely get another after a few months or so.
the question is:
when are dual core games coming to market? age of empires 3 is going to have dual core support which should mean it will run faster on the x2 than on the fx.

in the nvidia control panel go to the color correction tab, set color profile to advanced mode, select apply color profile changes to "ALL". Hit Apply and your done!
im finding my athlon xp 2700+ to be insufficient power in games such as half life 2, doom 3, and battlefield 2. constant dips into the 20's as far as fps goes.
cant say i regret buying my 6800 GT for this 2700+ processor :D
however i do get the same dips in fps as i got with my 9800 pro, but being able to crank the aa and af and resolution with zero fps hit is great. i am however, moving to a athlon 64 3200+ soon.
