I think my Cool & Quite function is working. My concern is when this function works, my CPU frequency (1000MHz) is always lower than normal value (1800MHz), no matter what kind tough task I run on it. So, looks like this 'advanced' C&Q function "always" loweres down my CPU...

In the BIOS > Boot > Boot Device Priority I only find options for floppy disk and IDE HD. If I want to install XP on the SATA drive and start system from that SATA disk, how shall I do? Thanks.

Can not find IDE drive on Asus A8v mobo

I only connected one ATA100 drive on the primary IDE socket, but when the system boot up, it scan IDE device but can not find any IDE drive connect to the FastTract controller. However when I checked BIOS, the hard drive is there. Can anyone tell me how this happen?

Problem with Dell minitor

The Dell 1704FP LCD just arrived. Surprisingly I found the DVI connector of the LCD monitor is not standard, not compatible with the ordinary DVI socket coming with my GeForce Video card. Is there any body who ever met this problem? Do I need to buy additional DVI adapter? Thanks.

Monitor no signal ! why???

The monitor works wel when connected to my laptop. The AGP card is good, and also I tried two AGPs card, no problem. I am using GeForce5200, looks like it does not need additional power input.
