How much FPS difference will I see going from a GeForce2 GTS(205/383) to a GeForce3 Ti200?

Well my Visiontek GF3 Ti 200 was able to overclock to 220/500 right out of the box (The Ti 500 default speeds are 240/500). I upgraded from a GeForce 2 GTS 64MB. I'm happy.

Visiontek Ti 200 -> 220/500 (max setting that cool bits allow). I have absolutely ZERO problems. I can run 3DMark 2001 endlessly =D

VisionTek, Leadtek--Which Ti 500?

I can't speak on behalf of the Visiontek Ti 500 ... but I bought the Ti 200 and it overclocks perfectly to 220/500. That is the max that the cool bits registry "fix" will allow. No problems at all. The Ti 500 is normally clocked at 240/500. My Ti 200 started at 175/400.

Santa Cruz under XP

I have the Hercules Game Theater XP. The cards are based on the same DSP. I can't find beta drivers for Windows XP. The W2K drivers do NOT work. I get horrible crackling static in the place of regular sound or music. Any ideas?

Is Sony CDRW 16X Burner any good? How is it compare to the Yamaha 16X burner?

Burners - Yamaha 16x10x40 versus TDK 16x10x40

They Yamaha does not do TRUE 16X recording. It only reaches 16X on the outer edges of the disk. They are not blatantly advertising that point. The TDK only has a 2MB buffer compared to the Yamaha's 8MB buffer, but the TDK has burn-proof which pretty much negates the need for a larger buffer...

Solaris 8 x86

I personally have used Solaris x86. Mainly because it doesn't have as much hardware support as the SPARC based version, nor any of the Linux distros. I've also heard that the Solarix x86 isn't nearly has stable and robust as it's bigger brother (SPARC). For the record, I use Solaris 2.6 - 8...

You have 2 ways of doing the file system. You can dedicated a whole partition to each virtual machine, or you can create a virtual partition which is the whole file system in a single file on the host OS.
