Based on the advice of this thread I just signed up for Usenetserver.com's $150 silver 1 year program. The retention is advertised as at least 8 days for binaries. I just used GrabIt (for the first time) and every single group I try has no more than 2 to 3...
So is everyone saying that if I just call Earthlink that they will waive the $99 sign up fee? Is there a contractual time commitment.
Also, has anyone confirmed that you get a static or non-static IP?

I swear when I looked at Telocity this weekend they advertised 1.5 Mbps download, 128 Kbps upload (although I have no proof)
I signed up on the phone but now it shows 784 Kbps download, 392 Kbps upload.
The whole purpose to signing up with the faster download...

Anyone know if the Clie's USB cradle is travel size or not (not = Palm V cradle)? IE is it a cable or an actual big plastic cradle.

Thanks - I learn something new everyday I suppose. CDRs seem to burn at 12x regardless of their rate (4x or 8x). I guess CDRW's actually tell the burner their max speed.
Now - anyone know where you can get 10x CDRWs cheap?

Has anyone asked a CSR about the shipping charges. I tried to build a cart with the mouse plus over $100 in computer equipment and it still didn't give me free shipping. The mouse seems to NOT be coded as computer equipment for the $100+ free shipping deal.
I use dash but the crashing is annoying. Does anyone know a way to have Dash permanently turned off until I purposely turn it on for a purchase? Besides unintalling it and reinstalling it everytime of course!

Does anyone know what resolution / refresh the secondary port can do? I run 2 1600x1200 screens so when I went out a bought the G400 Max w/ dual head I immediately auction'ed it because the secondary port couldn't come close to 1600x1200.

Hey all. I went a bought this thing after reading "network capable".... and thought it could actually be hooked into a hub. It's still a great printer (no I won't sell you mine) but I really would like to add the network card. Anyone have any idea where to get this cheap?
