My "old" computer that I had up until the 1st : AMD xp2700+ AT7-MAX2 (has sata and its fried) My 7 year old computer: 500mhz A generic mobo with only 2 pci slots (no sata) I hope this clears things up. I guess its my fault for having too much confidence in neweggs 2day...

Well I would finish writing my paper on this but 3 pages of my almost finished paper are on an sata drive from my "old" computer; and, as you well know, 7 year old computers dont have sata... so f*ckyou. If newegg had a flood why didnt they email me about it? or post it on their site...

A Few Questions About AMD64 90nm Cpus

Alright I guess thats what I'll be getting sometime next week :) I was planning on getting a new vidcard this winter anyway. Although an overall increase of about 10fps in each game (d3, ut2k4 and CS:S) would be just fine as far as I'm concerned. Does a 10fps increase sound reasonable? Just...

Which one of these RAM should I get? How do they overclock?

I bought some of that ram a few weeks ago, works surprisingly well. I was able to get a nice oc with the default timings and voltage. Im sure you could oc really well if you just lowered the timings and uped the voltage. I say go with the PDP ram.

Well, I would get a 3500+ cpu if I could but I dont have $300 for a new cpu. I also forgot to mention that I plan on OCing when I get 3000/3200 cpu.
