New Evga 6600gt

thanks! fixed!, i dont exactly know how it fixed it, but here are the thigns i did, update the motherboard drivers, replug the molex to the card, i got a differ molex to plug in. score was 3200 or around there, not the best of the best, but better then 800.

New Evga 6600gt

just got the evga 6600gt 128mb and i used 3dmark05 to benchmark, i only get around 860. i see most people get at least 3000, my computer specs amd64, 2800+ socket754, mobo chaintech vnf3-250, mushkin ram 512mb pc3200, WD 80GB and my PSU is an Antec 350watt w/ +12V, 21A, 0.8A. Just got the card...

so this is my first time overclocking ever, i just want to ask if im doing this correctly and what more i can do to improve.. first off my rig: amd64 2800+, Chaintech VNF3-250, Mushkin PC3200 2.5 cas, and Zalman CNPS7000B heres what ive done so far in bios to overclock. ive changed the HTT...

hmm another thought, would the fan ontop of xp90 or xp120 interfer or touch with the 120mm case fan of the sonata antec?

hmm, but a little extra money for the 120 would probably be better becuase im overclocking though right? probably will have to get xp-90 though, the pics from the two chaintech mobo look very similar in space

thanks MDE, i sent thermalright a email, lets see if they respond, if the xp-120 didnt fit, would the xp-90 still be a good choice? or would anyone else have a good recommendation
