Last time I built a computer was when E6300 was at its prime, so its been a while so bare with me. I need to build a computer to handle several CCTV camera that connected through PCI cards other than that it will perform regular office duties: surfing, word and little bit of picture editing...

Will this remote connection scenario work?

Which version of LogMeIn do you use? Was it web browser based? I am just worried about using it over the internet, since I just want to keep it within my LAN. Also, I really do not like how LogMeIn, has all my information/profile on the site. Yes, I am a newbie to VPN related stuff. Thanks

Passive cooling for Intel core 2 duo

I am not 100% if it is from stock hsf, but just wondering about my alternatives. The only other fan is the PSU fan that cames with sonata, the case fan is set to low so it quiet. btw, the e6300 is not oced and will not be.

Passive cooling for Intel core 2 duo

I have a E6300 and currently have the supplied intel's s hsf on it and find it kinda loud. I was hoping if there is a passive cooling hsf for my chip. It is housed in a Sonata II, if that helps. Thanks

Installing Nvidia and ATI drivers on same computer?

hmmm..., does not sound too good now. I will be using it on Windows XP pro and having it for 3 monitor purposes (2 on nvidia and one on ATI), just for web-browsing mainly. Thanks

Hello, I already have a Nvidia video card as my primary card, now I need another video card for multiple monitor purposes and found a ATI video card for cheap. My concerns is, is it fine to install both Nvidia and ATI drivers on same computer without any conflicts? Thanks

I was doing something wrong in acronis, but now it seems to be working fine. So I am going test it out further and if that fails I will try out Backup Exec Thanks SoulAssassin hopefully I will stop bothering you =)

Oh, I thought it was the same. This tells you how much I know about VLAN, hehehe. So, all my wired network will be 192.168.1.1 and wireless 192.168.2.1 ?? Anyone connected to wireless network will not see 192.168.1.1 network? I am sorry for all these question, just want to know more about...

The more I look into it DD-WRT sounds like a very good alternative, just that I am kinda lazy to setup the whole network again, assigning IP's and changing them etc... btw, is the steps I need to take to get it up and running...
