Lockup with my 6800GT card

Ok guys. I have a BFG 6800GT card that is locking up in games (esp Command and Conquer Generals). I have the latest drivers/game updates. I have AGP fastwirte diabled in bios. I called BFG who suggested it might be a IRQ sharing problem as I am running XP. My VC has its IRQ at 16 and is sharing...

HURRY I MUST BUY!

i originally said Leadtek, got mine from ewiz.com and it was broken right out of the box. Had to RMA it. Went out and got a BFG and it is a good card. It won't overclock to Ultra speeds without artifacts on HalfLIfe2. Damn shame. Oh well. It at least worked out of the box.

I got my 3500+ to 2.7 today

cmon guys. What am I gonna run that is gonna crash my system if I can do Prime for 30 minutes?? Nothing. My voltage is already at 1.55v. How much higher can I go? I am only using 1.3 bios. 1.5v is max.

I got my 3500+ to 2.7 today

Finally. Upped my vore to 1.5 (now reads 1.52 in cpu-z), and over vid of 5%. I was prime 95 stable for 30 minutes before it errored. Not bad

I am at 2.64 GHZ using 240 x11 and only have overvid set to 3.3% What is everyone else getting out of there 3500+ prime stable??

I have a ram divider ar 5:4 (166) iin my bios. I am currently at 2.64 GHZ with my 3500+. I have my OCZ El Platinum Rev2 ram set at 2-2-2-5 timings and 1t. ISn't it alot faster to run your ram 1:1?? I currently have the fsb at 240 (x11). How could I do this? Also, is it worth getiing the RAM...

XP-90 Question

you remove the back plastic mount of the stock heatsink, and screw the mount that comes with the xp-90. It is really easy, It only takes 2 screws. The xp-90 should only take you 5-10 minutes to install once you read the directions and know what to do. It really is a good heatsnk. Mt CPU stays...

What is the best driver for my 6800GT??

What is the best driver to get for my 6800GT overclocked to 400/1100?? I know there are alot of beta drivers out there along with the official Nvidia drivers. I mainly play games. Thanks PVD

I am running 11 x 240 with only a 3.3% increase in vcore. (the percentage option). All of my other stuff is stock voltage, with 2-2-2-5 timings. My HTT is at 4x. I tried fooling around with the higher fsbs and 10x multiplier but could only get to 2.65 or so stable, with lax memory timimgs. I...

(90nm)3200+ vs (90nm)3500+ for OC

I don't know about 2.8 GHZ. That seems a bit high. I have my 3500 90nm stable at 2.64 which is fine for me rightnow. My RAM is also at 1T and 2-2-2-5 timings. Get a big PS. I got a good deal on the ANtec 550

don't play ravenshield, only HL2,Doom3, Pacific Assault, Battle for middle earth, and Sid Miers Pirates. To get past my current cpu max, I will have to tune my HTT down to 3x, as to get the same fsb/mult ratio past 2.6 will clock my memory past 1050 mhz. I am still confused about the damn...

yeah, I think so. For whatever reason MSI Neo boards OC betterl ike this. Has something to do with overloading the AGP bus or something. I am not entirely sure if I remember it right. Hey googer- how do memory timings play into my overclock?? Is my RAM setup/timings optimal??

crossphyr- Nice setup. I have a 3500 and the same mb/ram/vid card. Why do you have your ram timings so high?? Was it not stable with 2-2-2-5 timings?? I am also working on getting mt OC to the max level. I Was using my 11 multiplier and got a max FSB of 237 prime95 stable. This puts me at 2.61...

TTerris- I have the RAM at 2-2-2-5 timings. What Ram do you have?? I have the ram at 1t timings. I have the agp lock at 67. ram divider set at 166 mhz. hmm.... can't remember all the other categories. If you need the rest, just shoot me a PM with teh categories and I will be happy to look it up...

Why would anybody buy a 3200 90nm over a 3000 90nm?

check my thread on my 3500+ overclock. I am at 2.607 on stock voltages and an FSB of only 237 (x 11). I am going to go higher by dropping the multiplier to 10, but you get the point. This chip and memory kick ass. I would spend the extra hundred to get fx-55 + speeds. I bought mine for $260 OEM...

AMD needs to make with the chips...

well my 3500+ I bought at monarch 3 weeks ago was $262 OEM. Still, even at 300-330 this is a good price b/c mine is running as fast as an FX-55 Overclocked. Do the math- 300 vs 850 :)

I am now @ 2585 MHZ with STOCK voltages and am prime95 stable (see below). This RAM and CPU are amazing. Still gonna go higher. Will let you know. BTW- my HTT is at 4x, RAM @ 1T, 2-2-2-5 timings 1st test is at 2520MHZ, second at 2.585 GHZ. Can see the speed difference too. On to 2.64...

AMD 64 3500+ worth it or should I go with 3200+?

3500+. Multiplier at 11 and stcck is faster which means faster overclock. Mine is at 2.5 right now with stock voltage.

Please recommend a heatsink\fan for an OEM AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64 3500+, cpu

Thermalright XP-90 with a 92mm Panaflo. Be sure to pick up some Artic silver too. Keeps my CPU nice and cozy at 35 degrees stock and only a little higher OC to 2.5
