Which on of these is better? Also, would these work decently aon a p3 550 or p3 733? i got store credit at a place that sells these and want to use it up soon! thanks!

Well There Goes The 19" Sony CRT! :(

have you degaussed your monitor? what you';ve todl us leads me to ask this... if you have then ignore this.... the "degauss" function de magnetizes the monitor or something and can usually be accessed through the on screen menu..... at school many of the monitors get messed up and go purple in...

Arctic Cooling Silencer series question...

no the turbo's power is provided by exhaust gases, the power for the fan proposed by myself is provioded by a normal fan connector.... the thing i would like to see changed is the center bit of the arctic cooling silencer it can have something similar to the way the turbo takes air in...

Arctic Cooling Silencer series question...

For those of you who know about turbochargers, the turbo impeller/compressor blades would be a much better design for the arctic cooling silencer series' fans. The center portion is desgined to suck air in, and the outer fins are geared towards compressing and blowing out the air at the one...

60HZ CRT rez

i hate 70hz or less... hurts... but then my monitor looks sharper at 10x7 with lower refresh rates.... but then flicker is annoyign so i live with the blurryness...

New exhaust system!!

i have a crappy dell gx1 case and p3 550 and two hard drives stuck in there... and the psu fan is really struggling, cause its hotter now in the summer, so i bended some paper around the exhaust of the psu so it doesnt go towards the intake which is a few inches over on the reade of the case...

Clock Frequency question

6800Gt has 16 pixel pipelines, the 6600 has 8 pixel pipelines... do some math (16*325) > (8*500) adn that calculation shows fill rate btw.. i dunnoh what units tho....

Homemade 6800GT waterblock

what stops leaks between the black thign and the copper?..... silicon or what?.... or is it made waterproof? i duotn trust metal to metal interfaces to bne waterproof.. its needs a gasket or something....anyone agree? oother than that it looks sick for home made but he had some smal cnc thingy...

Proof that graphics don't make the game

have you guys seen how large the world is in gta:sa??!?!?! quit complaining, i played it on ps2, it has its fair share of glitches and might not look as good as gt4, or splinter cell, but the game is just fun and look at everything you can do... try driving from the south east corner of the map...

ba better wirign job might help it looks like alot of clutter on top of the hard drive, even for no airlfow, i woul try to keep it clean there.... btw, you have positive case pressure with two intakes adn one outtake, try increasing the outtake/exhaust

Cheap video upgrade???

live with what oyu have until you get a new system imo any 9600 over 80 bucks aint worth it.... mayeb 100 if its an XT, but the 9800 isnt really worth it as its old as a mof.... but still the best option considering what a 9600 costs... a 420 psu would be useful in the next system....

AMD's X2 A Failure Over At Tom's

i think that to test it they should run the same amount of apps as there are cores(as the OS recognizes it...), and then when the amd x2 finishes the first two apps starts up the next app, whilst intel pentium ee does all 4 at the same time.... and the amd alternates two apps at a time for...

why is the intel machine getting 4 programs and windows scheduler sees 4 cores, where as amd x2 gets 4 programs and sees two cores.... that a bit sad.... mayeb teh x2 would be better at doign 2 things at once and finishing quickl and doign the otehr 2 and then be done near the same times as the...

Lately whenever i go to open a <1kb notepad file, it takes liek a long time, like 7 seconds, i can understand it if my computer has many things running such as unzipping a file or running azureus.... but if i turn on the computer, log on and open the file it takes time to open ( i've waited for...

Radeon 9550 or 6200TC?

the 6200tc 64mb is BAD the 32mb oen is better as the memory bus width is greater, i think its 64 bit on the 32 mb and 32bit on the 64 mb.... as well as the 64mb has slower memory speeds 550 on the 64mb and 700 on the 32mb
