Abit IB9 looking pretty sweet

Binky, did the 1.3 beta bios not fix the boot problem for you? I am about to finish my build with this board and I have to say, other than some minor annoyances the install is straightforward and the board is running fine. I have yet to upgrade to the 1.3 beta until I see a few more people...

Definitly, not only is that an impossible configuration (I know of NO machines that could house all those sticks LOL) but the price is off by a couple zeros even if it were true. But damn that would be a sweet setup. :)

ASUS K8V SE DELUXE HORROR... oh no

I have had my K8V for awhile now with no issues. Did you make sure that the four pin power connector was connected to the mobo? Is this the first time you have installed this mobo into this box or is this a "reinstall" of some sort? You need to provide more information about your setup...

Really Low 3dmark score

I am having the same problem with my card. Stock I am getting 5900 in 3DMARK03 I haven't updates all of my MOBO drivers or BIOS yet but it is frustrating. The only thing I could open was the shader. The pipe caused artifacts :(

6800 Softmod Success Rate?

AMD 64 3200+ Gig o' Ram Asus K8VSE Deluxe mobo Fresh install of Vid card drivers I still haven't updated my mobo drivers etc as of yet. Damn holidays are getting in the way of my computer time LOL Once I update the Mobo I will see where it gets me. I think that is where my bottleneck...

6800 Softmod Success Rate?

I went ahead and returned that PNY card and got in on the BB deal with the rebates and purchase of HL2 Stock speeds were still showing under 6000 with 3Dmark 03 I was able to unlock the shader but a no go on the pipes :( I have not done any OC'ing as of yet as I am way to busy killing...

(Dead) BFG 6800 OC with Far Cry, add HL2, $220 - $250 AMIR

I got in on the black friday deal for the PNY flavor of this card, and have been having issues with it, low 3dmarks (6014 at stock settings) as well as artifacts when opening the pipes and shaders. I don't have HL2 yet. You guys think I should return my PNY and get in on this deal if possible...

ok something is NOT right here. My BASELINE on 3dmark after opening the pipes and shaders (which had artifacts) was 6013 Isn't that AWFULLY low even for stock settings???

how about this for a question, Should I use coolbits to up the clock settings and riva tuner just for the pipelines? or should I use rivatuner to do the whole shebang?

The thing is , that descrip shows a 256 MB 256 Bit, However those of you that picked out it was not a pro are correct, which tells me that this thing probably has the older chipset and is "retarded" back hence the price. I will keep my eyes on the 6800OC and as soon as I see that $249 price...

Honestly I don't know, but check the Nvidia site bud, they have all the dimensions listed, also if that doesn't answer it their tech support usually responds pretty fast you could mail them as well if no one responds here.

I am looking for a new card and this is about as high as I want to spend, the problem is that I see that little "OR" in the description. Also the image LOOKS like it has the correct chipset which means it could be flashed from the pro to XT correct?
